I sigh as I nod my head in agreement with Loreno. "we have to get going right now. Who knows how far the band has gotten in front of us. Oh, and Loreno. If we run into your parents, Let us do the talking. It doesn't sound like-" I yell backward, already have taken off in the general direction of the enchanted forest, but cut myself off, knowing I'd get too far ahead for them to hear.

And she's off. Anyway, my parents will never listen to her. Not when they are on The Sylestia's Most Wanted List... Loreno took off after her, his paws padding the ground. He lifted off into the air, beating his wings and spiraled into a dive, following Anguish. (Hey Wrayth, for the first post, Loreno doesn't use a weapon. He uses flames, ice, etc. I mean, he could use a grimoire, but he is not going to use a staff for fear his parents will hate him more.)

(No problem. I just put something there to go off of. You could really use anything you could want. If you want spells with nothing attached then its you're choice. I'll fix it. Just tell what you want. I just figured using something to 'channel' magic would make more sense. In every book I've read that had classic fantasy in it, magic was drawn from the surroundings to the item and released, or the wielder's life force was used as a conduit. You can do hands free if you want.)

(Okay, he just goes hands-free and uses pure magic to cast his spells.)

Loreno signaled silently to the other Griffis to stay out of his way. That is one benefit of my parents being the Most Wanted Griffis in Sylestia, everyone is afraid of me. But what will they think when Silver and the others figure out my heritage. Eh, they probably won't care. But insecurity still gripped Loreno's mind.

Thalia narrowed her eyes at Loreno. It was almost as if... The other Griffis were... Afraid of Loreno. Maybe it has something to do with his parents. He did seem to try to avoid that topic after all. Hm...

I glance back to see Griffi parting for Loreno.How strange. I guess I won't dwell on it. After all, we should be focusing on the rescue of the prince.

Silver simply walked behind the group, her small frame hidden behind everyone else's. She was fine with it, of course.

Chara a woke with a start. She looked around. She fell asleep at the inn . . . she asked when the others had left, and decided she should be able to catch up in a day or two. She immediately hopped into the direction they left, hoping she was on the right track.

A day and a half later, the group of hired Sylesti found themselves staring down a thick, dense forest. A wooden pole with a matching sign stated it was the entry to the Enchanted Forest and gave a short warning.

Seated next to the sign and obviously taking a break from his travels, a Puffadore sat, chewing on a piece of hay as he rifled through his pack, taking inventory. His ears twitched as he picked up the sounds of the group's approach and he looked up, giving a rather warm smile.

"G'day to you travelers. Lovely day. I'm Merlot, a traveling merchant so if you wish to check my wares, you're welcome to."
