You said some restrictions apply, Coda. What are they? I don't want to think I've found exactly who I want and then discover that pet is off-limits.

(And thanx again for running this contest.)

Griffi:

Thrum
Snare (as in Snare Drum)
Cymbal
Chiptune (An electronic music style I love :3)
Staccato
Forte (loudly)
Mellifluous (a sound that is sweet and pleasant to hear)
Ineffable (too great to describe with words)
Sonorous (an imposingly deep sound)
Bombinate (to make a humming or buzzing noise)

These are all related to music :3

Dhruv
In Hindu tradition, Dhruv was the second son of an important king. Outcast and misunderstood by his family, Dhruv embarked on an extraordinary spiritual quest of devotion to the Hindu god Vishnu. He journeyed deep into a forest and began meditating and praying. Touched by this show of piety, Vishnu turned Dhruv into the North Star, so that hed never have to be ignored again. The name symbolizes reliability and a strong sense of direction.

OK, this fellow then--

https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=2006797

I shall name him "Pakane."

Speaking of names, name your Griffi baby "Paddywhack." That's not a nonsense word; it refers to a part of the carcass of an animal (a part that's attached to the skull, appropriately enough), which can be used to make a musical instrument. The children's nursery rhyme is about an old man who was playing an instrument made out of paddywhacks! The instrument is today called "Irish Bones," "Rhythm Bones," or simply "The Bones." They are harder to play than you might think. Your boy will grow up to wear a skull helmet, and he looks like a great Physical fighter, so I think it suits him.

Come to think of it, you might want to write it "PaddyWHACK," because he looks like he will grow up to totally lay waste to his enemies! You can just call him "Paddy," for short.

oo, the white one reminds me of an angel, so I'll go with Hymn

the red one reminds me of a demon, so how about Chant

a hymn is a heavenly chorus sang by priests, while a chant is usually sang by Satanic Cultists, but can be used by priests too, which completely makes sense since 'Satan' used to be an angel, but was turned to the darkside (probably because they had cookies), according to Christian lore.

Don't judge meh.

you could also go Alto for the white one since Alto means high
While the red one would be Tenner, meaning low.
