The slow Sylesti looked upwards at the rain dripping down his muzzle. His slight limp attracted the attention of a human, who ran to help the poor creature.

She ran down the dark alleyway, her claws clicking against the wet bricks. The rain pattered on her fur, reminding her of the rainy walks that she had taken. She took a minute to stop and breath. She heard the gang coming up behind her. She scampered away, her hatchling clinging to her pelt.

She saw no beauty in this mate,
and him she grew to completely hate,
But through her dark heart,
there was a bit that wasn't a sour tart,
she saved his life,
as he would hers,
Without him she knew she didn't matter,
But this love lie was getting fatter.

Sorry for the horrible poetry ._.

and I didn't mean to ping ._.

She growled in her throat, drawing in breath to breathe out her fire. At the last second the startled Puffadore from before ran in. She thought of him as vermin, but she didn't want to kill the one who had aided her. She hissed at him with a sneer,"What do you want?" He simply replied,"To see you break the promise of life..."

The grand sylesti soared above the open desert, his giant wings shadowing the land under him. Drawing his wings against his sides, he began a steep dive towards a small Oasis. Just as he was about to hit the ground, he unfurled his wings, and made a graceful landing.

As their wings opened, they looked at them and sighed. Still to small to fly. They Decided it wouldn't hurt to try to fly, but as their wings opened and took a flap, they tumbled. More determined than ever, they made several flaps which lifted them into the air for a few seconds.

The sylesti paced the damp cave mouth of her den. The hunters had not returned for some time and she was starting to worry. She looked at the rising moon her hatch-lings would go hungry tonight.

She paced the halls of her castle, anxious about the coming events. Her owner(the Queen, naturally) would soon meet with the King of Argos, and his Sylesti would be with him. She wondered what he would be like, as far as she had heard he was a formidable warrior.

"--The male stalked the hunter that had just stolen his eggs. His eyes narrowed as the man turned to meet his pending demise. All that was heard that night was a loud growl, and a scream that penetrated the darkness".. "And that is why we don't steal the eggs of Sylesti's." said an elderly woman.
