The mother watched her youngling spring out of the bushes, making a tiny roar.

"Rawrr! Fear me!" They squeaked, batting at their mother's paws. She chuckled in amusement.

"Come, little one. The sun is climbing down from the sky, and it's getting late. We should go home. She said, standing and turning her head.

Her child hurried up and scrambled beside their mother, trotting alongside them. Indeed, the sky was growing dark and the sun was dissapearing behind a mountain. Minutes passed, and the sky was turning blue.

A loud sound rung through the air. The mother froze in place, ears perking up. She began to snarl. A tree was falling. And then another.

"Come. We must go." She spoke sternly. Her child, hiding between her legs, slowly nodded. She grabbed them by the back of their neck and began to hurry. Something roared. Birds, getting ready to rest for the night, cried out as their homes and nests were trampled.

They, both, were terrified. She ran towards the mountain, as fast as she could. She managed to find a miniscule crevice in the rock, just big enough for her, and hurried in, hiding in the back and setting her youngling down behind her.

The sounds stopped. The land seemed silent.

She let out a sigh of relief. They would be safe.

You were
art,
framed,
ashamed
of yourself,
and although
your
colors were
never understood
by the world,
I will never forget
you.
And even though you
came in pieces,
you gave your
best to me,
I will never
regret you.

I was like a diamond under the beauty of the ocean!
My current rides out with smooth motions,
Leaving a taste with intense emotion
Captured by my tides, sunk to my love potion.

This time,
I will feel no pain,
I'll turn numb,
And won't break again,

See,
This time I will be free,
Away from your lies and abuse,
And finally be free,

I really hope I did this right!

For the next one:

Lavender fields,
Springtime appeal,
You blend in with the colors,
Alone and Free,
You want to be,
And now you finally are
Your colors, warm, and welcoming,
But your beast from within is showing,
Just tell them only one thing:
don't judge a book by its cover.

Make sure you read it all so you fully understand.

A goddess in design,
Ain't no way she wasn't going to shine.

She continued to see the light,
With her face held upright.
Even when the world told her,
the future wasn't that bright.

But she couldn't let them win,
So she responded with a grin,
I believe from within.

You wouldn't be able to bring me down for a goddess has no bounds.

Watching in the shadows, alone, prowling. Watching every move, waiting to pounce. Now! The small creature lunged towards its master, licking his cheek.

The young small sylesti looked lovingly at her owner as she curled up into a ball on there lap.
