I'm creating this thread in honor of Saint Patrick's Day. Basically, if you are lucky enough to own a pet that is the first pet of that species to have (be created with) a particular trait, post the pet here!




(Remember, you can use Advanced Search to see which pet was first with a particular trait. Let's count First Carried and First Visible separately. Also, traits created via a Mutator don't count!)

I'll start. Here is Lavaliere, the first Zolnixi to have the Chain Jewelry trait as a Visible--

Note that I didn't have to Dye her; she was born this way!


This is the pet who motivated me to create this thread--

I created him after doing a search to see what Lunemaras had been generated with the "Lucky Dust" trait and finding that there weren't any! Therefore, he is currently not just the first but the only.

Well, I'm not sure what other pets I might have first of a trait on, but I was surprised to find that I have the first (and so far only) lighira with the new Lucky Dust.



Atlantica is set to be the mother of my Ocean Waves Lighira project, which I fiddled with just to include the new mutation (cause I like it so much better than the horns they were going to have~)




I think my Banana Pudding girl might be the first non-mutated luff with visible Lynx (might be Angelrah's Sierra Mist, but she's mutated so not sure which trait is the mutation as she was caught in the same time as Lynx was released)

Do pets that were released count?

If you released the pet, I don't see why not, Deathdust. We could have another category then--

1. First (non-released) pet of a species with a new trait Visible.

2. First (released) pet of a species with a new trait Visible.

3. First (non-released) pet of a species with a new trait Carried.

4. First (released) pet of a species with a new trait Carried.

Although it is sad to think that the very first pet with a brand-new trait was released into the wild. Of course, if the very first pet to have a certain trait has not been released, then Category 2 won't exist for that trait. The same with the very first pet to have a new trait as a Carried; if that pet hasn't been released, then Category 4 won't exist.

Different subject--I have named my Lunemara; see above.

I never gave this much thought before. So I went to the advanced search to see what I'd find. I avoided ones that were mutated or ones that I thought could have been revamped.

I think my Genie is the first Ryori with Lucky Dust Carried. ^.^ (She's part of a new project of mine though so the other two with it carried after her are also mine... ^.^')

And the first Bulbori doesn't have a name? Seriously? (Consider yourself scolded, please. ;)

I know this might sound weird but I actually get a lot of anxiety when it comes to naming pets. It was worse when we were just stuck with a name permanently. But there's so many for me to catch up on now that there's the philter of amnesia. And I find myself just stumped at finding different names for everything that I like cause I can be really picky. Even with the philters of amnesia, I worry if I'll be happy with the name I chose or will I regret it and have to earn scales or not. But you're right. I really should figure out something for her. I'm just a horrible worrier. lol

(It's my anxiety of whether or not I'll be happy with choices after that's prevented me so far from regenning a bunch of pets, too.)
