I was messing around with the generator and I got this. It reminds me of black ice in a way. As a kid I seriously always thought it was black, but then was told nope it's totally transparent >->
Did someone else also make a black ice griffi .-.

'Black ice, sometimes called clear ice, refers to a thin coating of glaze ice on a surface, especially on roads. The ice itself is not black, but virtually transparent, allowing the often black road below to be seen through it.'

So that's why it has black in the name :o *leaves definition here*

Here is my lovely Griffi~

I based her colours off of snow, glaciers, and the general feel of a crisp, clear, winter day.

This is my black ice Griffi, insipired by the many improptu skating lessons I've had! What's winter without the constant threat of falling on your butt?
The peacock gene was chosen in honour of my flailing arms, which resemble a baby bird's desperate attempt to flap its wings.

She reminds me of a frosty winter day. The tail represents the stalactites formed from the rooftops, the peacock gene represents the accumulated ice crystals on your windshield, and the wings are the frozen leaves on the trees that hadn't become fully bare yet.

I know the griffi may not look very wintery but i just really liked the way this winter scene looks. I really wished it snowed this year where i live. I like seeing the sunlight through the trees and fog. but I made sure to keep the colors the same as this picture that was my inspiration

Our winter where I live doesn't have snow. So these are hard for me.

This is my winter guardian Griffi.

He's bsed off nothjng but my imagination and love of blue colours. I guess this isea is that he protects the spirits of winter so they may bring it to the world.

Do i thknk I'll win with this guy? Not really. Did i enjoy making him? Not as much as my Nixi.nwas it a waste of time? No.

Happy holidays everyone!

This is my Winter's Night Griffi! I thought about how the snow looked at night, and went and created him.

My granddaughter told me a good way to get inspiration for a design is to look at a picture and get the 'feel' of it from there. So that is what I did. I was attracted to the high contrast winter photos and I hope this design is a good representation of this winter scene. Thank you for looking!

Jack Frost

Yes. I did borrow Disney's color scheme. But a large part of this griffi was inspired by my own admiration for frosty mornings. One of my favorite parts of winter is waking up in the morning and seeing the patterns left on glass.
