Winter Moonlight Majesty

Inspired by a cold winter night, with the moonlight making shadows while also highlighting the snow

Crushed Peppermint

Inspiration: When I think of winter, one of the first things that comes to mind is Peppermint. All of my favorite candies are peppermint flavored, and they come out when it turns to winter. Crushed peppermint in hot cocoa, peppermint kisses, peppermint chocolates...who can go wrong with peppermint?

I'm a little late but here's my Griffi.

Inspired by a winter sky. I spend a lot of time staring at the sky and I recently saw one that really made me want to make this design.

Inspiration is a snow-covered tree.

He was inspired by winter nights, the kind when the sky seems clear and dark and the wind howls, and snow swirls through the air.

MI Northern Lights Griffi

This was inspired by the few times I saw the Aurora Borealis in my home state. The times I saw it the colors were a beautiful red and green and always on the coldest winters night...... seriously, the most amazing sight I have ever seen!

Frozen Forest Griffi

I wanted to capture the feeling of looking up through the bare branches of a forest to the winter sky. The mixture of faded blue sky, brown bark, and crisp white snow has always been lovely to me.

Coming Cardinal Griffi

This is inspired by the first sight of the Cardinal. It seems to stand out against the icicles and snow, and yet when you take another look... it's gone. The red cardinals have always been my favorite bird because it's here at Wintertime, it represents the spirit of Christmas with it's beautiful red plumage, and it has that cool mohawk. :)

As dark as the twilight sky, as chilling as frost on branches and fences, with the sun dancing around him, never quite warm enough. His tail and eyes the deep, rich, dangerous colour of ice hiding on the roads and pathways, and accents of the rosy cheeks and chapped hands that sting when the air finds its way in.
