Well I'm not really big into designs and contests, but I'm bored so thought I'd give this a burl. I will post two adults with various traits, and then the hatchlings with no traits.
Jade Rabbit Bulbori
The Jade Rabbit is the Rabbit in the Moon that assists Chang'e, the Chinese Goddess of the Moon and Immortality. During various autumn festivals, the Moon plays a prominent role in rituals, worship, and seasonal activities. Since a Chang'e themed pet would be a bit nebulous, I decided her rabbit companion might be an easier theme.
Moon Cake Luffox
Moon cakes are traditional Chinese confectionery eaten during the mid-autumn festival. The most traditional crust is the chewy crust, which has a warm orange-brown colour and an oily sheen and sightly sticky or tacky texture. They are often stamped with Chinese characters or lucky symbols. The cakes are often shared between family and friends, particularly during moon viewing.
November Lunemara
This is less a theme and more of an imitation of an actual species of Moth, Epirrita autumnata or Autrumnal Moth. It is barely distinguishable from its close relatives, the November Moth and Pale November moth. They are native to the Near East and are in flight during autumn months, thus their names. Personally, they make me think of first frost, and thus I found not only their names but likeness would make an elegant Fall themed design.
