I'm afraid it doesn't work that way. I thought so, too, but one of my vorpas got the horns, even though he only had traits in the M1 and M2 slots.

@Mohya: It's about restricting where the trait can go. The new disruptor will only disrupt if a) there is at least one visible trait, and b) there is at least one available slot where there is not a carried trait. If there is a carried trait in a slot, the disruptor cannot put a trait there. So, if you have carries in every slot except the one you want, but have a visible in the slot you want, then you force the disruptor to only be able to give you that trait. However, if you have say 2 visibles and 4 empty slots, then the disruptor will choose one random visible to toss and put in one random trait from the water dragon traits because there are no carries to keep it from choosing a certain slot (or at least that's the way it sounds from Krin's description of the restrictions on the new disruptor)

I disrupted my BoP horde. A little annoyed - I didn't get a single M1, and only got one M2, but every single one of my four girls I disrupted got the G3????????????????????

Goldshinx: Bummer about your girls. I'm worried I'll end up with the same issue once I start using my disruptors.

All: Has anyone tested to see if having a carried trait in one of the possible slots keeps it locked from showing up? It won't help me with my ocean jewels since I can't have a trait in G3, but it might help with other pb.
I have four disruptors and I'm not 100% sure which pb I'm going to use them on. I'm leaning towards my ocean jewels, but I also have several lily pads and a few emperors. What are others planning on?

And Faeyla, I'm planning on using my two disruptors to put the Water Dragon Horns on one of my Emperors (for certain, just breeding the right offspring currently), and possibly the horns on either Lucky or Black Toad offspring. So hard to decide. I haven't even considered any other themes...I figure I'll let other players handle that.
