Hi.... I know this sounds really lame, but I'm getting really frustrated and bored on this part. I need to defeat Lord Talon's Vulnyxs, but my highest pets can't do it, and I've spent more than half my money already trying to defeat them. Is anyone willing to let me borrow one of their pets? It should probably be a high level.... Please? I promise I'll return them (I only have two party slots), and if I don't, I suppose you can have me banned for a while (not sure if that's allowed) though it might be one or two or three days before I can return them due to my weird unpredictable schedule. Please?

sadly, you can only control pets up to level 21 (your level) and not higher, I would help you otherwise....

Hello! Sadly, what Jai said is right, you won't be able to battle with pets that are higher than your current level (21).

I took a look at your stables and your two highest level pets' (Erin and The Wise Warrior) stats are "balanced" in that you've put points into every stat. You don't want that D:

So here's two really good guides that will help out with pet builds :)

I would suggest re-setting their stats into one of the builds mentioned in the guides or training up another set of pets if you don't want to spend the gold re-setting the stats ^^

For example, this is my current team :)

Faisa is my tank, Kimir and Zeyce my damage pets :3 I can't guarantee they have the "best" builds, but it works fine for me ^^

Erinkitty, you have a pet that started out with high Strength (Erin, a very nice-looking Starter) and one that started out with high Intelligence (The Wise Warrior). When you reset their Level Ups and Proficiencies, emphasize Erin's Strength and Warrior's Intelligence, but give each one plenty of Health and also Agility. (Agility helps the pet keep from being hit.) Health is important because most fights with enemies like Talon's Vulnyxes turn into slugfests, where the pet's ability to last and last, despite being hit, is important. Yes, the fight will probably run quite long. Try to stock up on Healing Elixirs.

Also, adjust your pets' equipment to enhance their best traits. Assassin and Myrmidon equipment is for Strength pets, while Evoker and Illusionist equipment is for Intelligence pets.

Be very careful with Relics! Some Relics do the opposite type of extra damage that they logically ought to. For example, the Delicate Relic of the Illusionist that you currently have on Erin does 62 points of magical damage. Since high Intelligence pets do magical damage, and Illusionist Equipment is for high Intelligence pets, this is a good Relic.

However, some Illusionist (and Evoker) Relics do physical damage, which is useless. Likewise, some Myrmidon and Assassin Relics do magical instead of physical damage, which is equally useless. Don't put useless Relics on your pets. (Luckily, Armor and Accessories don't have this problem.)

There's a lot more about creating a good adventure party in the links Seagold gave you, but these are the basics.
