(This is a horror story. No romance, in case you were wondering))

There was once a little girl. She loved sweets. She would always beg her mother to buy her some when they went shopping together. She was a very disobedient girl; she stole candy from the candy jar even when her mother told her no to, or she time she pushed someone off their bike because it was prettier than hers.

All children learn someday that it's not nice to do these things.

And some learn it the hard way.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a cheery summer morning, the sun was high up in the sky, and the birds were chirping happily to each other.
A travelling circus set up their show by the town. It appeared in the middle of the night, and when people woke up it was there, sitting in the middle of the town square. Signs and advertisements were erected, the Lion Girl! and Bearded Woman! the highlight of the day. A dazzling array of flashing lights and primary colours decorated the playground, circus music blaring loudly overhead.
People quickly rushed in, eager to enjoy themselves at this once-in-a-lifetime event. The little girl was there too, her mother at her side as she dashed around, taking in the wonders of this magical universe. She went from stall to stall, playing Hit the duck and Cork gun. Her mother said, "Remember, never take sweets from strangers."
The Little girl replied, "Yes ma."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The little girl wondered around the circus, licking happily at the large lollipop that she whined from her mother. There were crowds of people everywhere. As she went to lick her lollipop, a heavy object bumped into her, dropping her unfinished lollipop onto the dirt floor. "Hey!" She said. "My lollipop!"

As she stared at her lost prize, she felt tears wet up in her eyes. She would probably have to beg her mother again to get a new one, and she had no idea where she is. Just then, a tall man walked towards her. He was pale skinned, wearing a black tux, a black top hat, and holding a long, black cane. He seems to be the ringleader of the circus, his face a charming smile and in gentleman attire.

"Hello," He said as he kneeled down, "what seems to be the problem?"

Wiping tears from her eyes, the girl looked up at the man, "I dropped my lollipop. Mummy will buy me a new one, but I don't know where she is."

The man looked straight into her eyes; deep pools of endless depth. The Little girl shivered a little uneasily, and the man seemed to ponder for a while, "Let me show you the circus. Your mother will surly be there."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The ringmaster held out his hand, beckoning the girl to come with him. She remembered her ma told her "Don't follow strangers." but her ma isn't here now, so she ignored the advise, and followed the ringleader.
He took her around the circus, first a front roll seat at Lion Girl, watching a tigers woman prance around the circus, jumping through rings of fire like a real lion. The girl was so excited about the show that she did not the Lion girl tense when she saw the ringleader, or how there was a spark of fear in her eyes.
Next was the bearded woman, a girl only about 7 years older than her. She had a long, thick bush of hair on her chin, and she giggled at the ridiculous sight. The woman looked ashamed, but otherwise kept quite and tense in front of the ring leader.
The sun was setting, and they still haven't found the Little girl's ma yet. But the Little girl wasn't worried even a little bit; she was having way to much fun.
