So, I have noticed that a lot of pet species have two or more "Cthulhian" traits available. Aeridinies have Corruption, Tentacle Wings, and Aparajita and Flytrap tails. Faeloras have Spooky Branches, Glowing Fungus, Skeletal, Ghostly Aura, and Bone Mask. Even the cute Luffox has Ram Horns and Demon Wings. while the Puffadore has Bone Armor and Bone Collar (I also think Astral Horn is creepy looking).
What about the Nephini? The only weirded-out Nephini trait is Lich Wings, which to some people look more pitiful than creepy. (No offense intended to Lich Wings fanciers; everyone likes what they like.)
How about this for a new Nephini trait? Presenting a real animal with "Spider Tail," to serve as a model--
This is the tail of the Spider-Tailed Horned Viper. The real animal used that tail in the same way an angler-fish uses its lights--to attract prey. We have Angler Lights on the Sylvorpa--why not a Spider Tail on the Nephini?
If I'm nuts to want this, say so. On the other hand, if you totally must have Spider Tail Nephinies, post that! If enough people like it I shall try to draw a Nephini with the trait. I might do that anyway.

To be honest, I thought that was some kind of disgusting arachnid at first XD (I have a mild arachnophobia) but it is a cool sounding idea to have it, perhaps at little less.. Fleshy at the end? I could see it on Nephinies though.

In the sketch I am working on (I'm not speedy), the tip looks more bony than anything else.
If you have any kind of bug-phobia, don't search the 'Net for video of the snake using its tail as a lure. The snake does a masterful job of making her (his? hard to tell) tail look like a live spider or perhaps centipede that is injured--that is, easy prey for a bird.
Then the bird becomes the snake's lunch. As far as I know this is the only snake in the world that uses a lure.

I don't have bug-phobia, just arachnophobia. In fact, when I was little I loved having ants crawl up my fingers and I would name them XD
