I wanted to call one of my pets Tecumseh, after the Canadian historical figure, but it tells me it contains a banned word... Now, I can see where that comes from, but does it really have to ban syllables in perfectly valid words?

I ended up typing Tekumseh and it accepted it, but I'm a bit miffed - it's a spelling error...

Yea. Comet Chat, our registration, and pet naming all use a bad... bad word filter. I just wrote a new one for the generator when saving designs that is much smarter.

If you want to link me the pet I can just manually change the name for you.

Um, so may I please name my Reindeer Qitari "******less"? The filter catches that name too.



In L. Frank Baum's 1902 children's book The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus, ten of Santa's reindeer are named, and "******less" was one of the ten.

I figured out how to get around the filter the first time this happened. I wanted to name a Faelora "Fionn mac Cumhaill," which luckily has a perfectly valid alternative spelling, "Fionn mac Umaill." But I can't figure out any possible alternative spelling for "******less."
