Ok, I know this is "gambling", but I'm glad I didn't pay for that ticket with anything more than my time. Seriously? For a ticket you are trying to sell for 50 Valentines in the Festival Shop? That's just... wrong.
I wasn't particularly happy when you got 5 frost tokens, but to downgrade it even more, this is just rediculous. I know you are trying to limit the amount of Valentines out there, but come on... at the rate I'm accumulating them I still won't be able to come even close to the 1000 needed for that egg anyway. Even if I got 10 valentines from the silly wheel, it wouldn't make that much difference. But 2? That's just insulting for the time or money I used to get the ticket in the first place.

Yes this is bad, I got it on the wheel before, I mean, a philter and 2 valentines are a wheel prize, so there should be more valentines at least

How much is a Philter worth? Probably more than no valentines. Some of us are not going to get anywhere near that goal anyway, but it would still be nice to get more valentines because I don't believe that a Philter is worth no valentines.

I feel like this could have been said better (the way thing have been phrased is a little insulting) but I think the fact that one spin results in a lesser philter plus two valentines means that the spin that gets you only valentines should be at least three.
Because it seems a little odd otherwise, in my opinion. I thought all the consultation prices were supposed to be about equal, but if one of them is a philter and valentines than the simply valentines prize shouldn't be lesser than that.
(But seriously there's no reason to call it insulting or a waste of money, that's just rude.)

I feel like it's difficult to get valentines this time around compared to other festivals. Maybe it's meant to control the value of valentines. If that's the case, where 5 tokens in a seasonal festival is equal to 2 valentines in this festival's value, then I would understand the difference.
As for the conversion of 50 valentines (or festival currency) to one wheel ticket, I'm not sure if that equals the same rate as last festivals' conversion rates of currency-to-ticket. If I knew, then I'd be able to make an argument aha. (i.e. if it took 50 frost tokens to get 1 ticket, and since it was relatively easier to get 50 frost tokens compared to 50 valentines, it would be somewhat unfair to get less of a payout of valentines compared to frost tokens, but again, not sure)

I call it being real.
Had I spent real money on tickets and got 2 valentines out of one spin, I'd have been broiling. I have spent hundreds of real dollars on that wheel in the past, buying the so called 'lucky' tickets. No more. Hundreds of dollars to get traps, philters and ONE wheel pet? I wised up real quick. I haven't spent a dime on it since, nor will I ever again. The site can keep their exclusives. I don't need them. To me, it's not worth it. To me, it is a huge waste of money for what you get back most of the time. Yeah, it was a gamble that I chose to make. Now I'm choosing not to gamble. To me, if a site wants me to spend real money on something they need to come up with an idea that's going to allow me to get bang for my buck and something decent that I WANT for every hard earned dollar. That wheel? As far as I'm concerned, you might as well flush your money down the toilet. This site is so focused on exclusives and their offspring being the only thing worth a crap around here that it seems it's becoming a game for only the RL rich that can afford to toss away a ton of real money to get them. It's a turn off. I've even quit spending money to make Mystical pairs. What's the point? All that seems to be deemed worthy around here are exclusive offspring, forget the fact that most Mystical offspring are just as beautiful if not more so.
Fests have become more stressful to me than fun for me. I had time to run around all day for two days and for the most part, that's what I did. I didn't find a single shard no matter how many bandits I killed or how many times I killed that queen or how many chests I opened. Who can sit here around the clock for a week trying? To me, that's what it seems I'd have to do to get enough valentines for that exclusive Luff egg. Pfft. I just don't have that kind of time so once again, I get the joy of frustration. I'm starting to avoid fests like the plague.
Now I'm off to work.

First off, the 2 Valentines consolation prize is for Regular Tickets only. It is a free spin, so 2 Valentines is more than no Valentines.
Second off, the main point of the Wheel is to win Themed Pets - not the other prizes. They are just there for when you don't win a Themed Pet so at least you win something.
As I've said before, the wheel is spun thousands and thousands of times per Festival. We can't have the consolation prizes be that good or else we will just further devalue everything on the Site (which we already have greatly and we are regreting it). This will be the last time the Wheel of Dreams makes an appearance as is.
And no, I didn't adjust the rates on winning anything outside of the consolation prizes (removing the things from last festival and putting in the new things for this festival) for this Wheel compared to its predecessors.

So there will be no more Wheel to spin in the fests?!
How unfortunate. (;_;)
I love the wheel, personally. But then, I really enjoy gambling (hurray for penny slots!) and understand that one should never gamble with the expectation of winning, only with paying to have a little fun (it's an evening's entertainment). I won't pretend that I've never had issues with the wheel (usually to do with the inconsistency of getting regular tickets from fest to fest), but I never been upset to get consolation prizes. I would, 100% of the time get something, even a small something, than nothing at all.
Since there have been so many complaints about wheel prizes though, I can understand why it's ultimately being taken away. But, I can't help feeling sad that we're gonna loose. :/

It's being removed for a few reasons. The actual main reason is that we can't seem to find a common ground where players find it worthwhile to spin without flooding the game with premium items. And honestly, at this point in time, the game is sadly already flooded with them.
We're also seeing a dramatic decline in demand for the Wheel Themed Pets - which is the entire point of the Wheel honestly. We basically don't want to further dilute the value of premium items nor do we want to further dilute the value of Themed Pets. Those two combined plus the complaints we see festival after festival is enough for us to stop releasing it.
While a Wheel of Dreams will resurface at some point down the road, it will be completely re-engineered. I do not know when it will make its reappearance, but we do have some ideas for it.
