I think so. It's just for those who don't want the chat open, it'll be closed for them. That's why Krin and Faiona gave everyone the option to open and close it themselves.

yeah but its gonna feel funny if you're chatting with someone and they close it on you DX
...now people won't be able to experience my lovely sylesti cannon or glomps and snuggles DX

I already added it to AdBlock by complaining to AdBlock about it. I also had a little chat of my own...with a firefox rep and they added a boolean to config that is FALSE by default. I got that in my last update. And lastly, I blocked Cometchat at the source, by removing permissions from the webpage. I also added it to my local host file so that it can only ping the computer it originates from. I strongly believe in redundancies when ridding myself of annoyances.
I permanently got rid of that thing two months ago.

And people wonder why I used other, obvious resources to remove it from my computer. If you're chatting with someone and they cut you off, there is a really obvious probable reason for it. In real life, if someone I don't know glomphs me or tries to snuggle, they'd find the back of my hand laid hard across the side of their face and my fists in their kidneys. Stranger assaults are just as unwelcome online.

someone doesn't understand small light jokes. (by the way, my post was pinged at some buddies who i often play around happily with, you can't see the people i pinged though)
