I'm a little unsure if it's allowed or not to have a base color that we put our gene over; if it's not okay, please let me know (I'll fix it!)
I call this gene Shallows... (I'm bad with names xP)

I call this idea Shadow Runes! As the Ryori is said to come from the plane of Shadows, I thought this would suit them well. It would also go well with the Shadow Wings mutation. Plus, shadows are at their longest and largest during the summer~

I envisioned the runes and markings to have a glowing effect to them, kind of like the Puff's Glow Bug gene. If anyone is curious, the runes on the Ryori do spell shadow~

Pant Splatter Gene

I like it on the Vulnyx, but... For certain reasons I shall not say... I don't want it to be on the Vulnyx?

Maybe Ryori, or Luffox would look nice splattered with paint?

I guess I'd call this Floral tail or Petal Tail? I don't know but I'd like this Gene for Aeridinis XD Based off flowers of course, thinking of summer makes me think of flowers.

This is my gene entry:

I call it Triple Fade.

I've seen loads of flowers in my area either have triple colored pedals naturally where the colors defuse into each other, or they get sun faded resulting in three defueds colors on the pedals. The naturally occurring ones are summer blooming flowers, and the ones that get sun faded are late spring threw summer blooming flowers. So it based on some local flowers.

I apologize for my absolutely horrible drawing. I am technologically challenged and I dont have access to a scanner :(
Anyway, I call this gene Wave Runes. I love going to the beach in the summer and playing in the waves, which was my inspiration for this!
