So.. is it just me or is anyone else having trouble getting all 20 eggs after the first time doing the egg hunt? :(

I have played TONS of times already and the most I ever get is 13 eggs. I'm beginning to think the hunt is slightly impossible. :/

Also if anyone has any tips or anything for doing the egg hunt please post them!

got it the first time and I was once one egg away. The worst thing was that I could see the last egg.

The closest I've gotten. That egg over there would have been my 20th.

(Grats to Mariposa for getting 20!)

I suggest:
1. Getting a map of the maze. Talyn has a wonderful map if you want to use hers. Just visit her thread and ask.

2. Figuring out the maze.

For those who overanalyzed it like me and Elliot (credit to Elliot because I use his map like all the time), you may notice that the southern maze can be divided into 4 sections.
I'll call them the northern corner (N), the western corner (W), the southeastern corner (SE), and the southwestern corner (WE).

I can only tell you that W connects to the 3 corners, whereas you can only get from one corner to the other by either going outside and around the maze to another corner OR go through W.

My biggest problem would be getting to the other parts of the maze with enough moves to get to the deepest dead ends. Some of the dead ends take up 10 or so moves to get to their eggs at their very ends, and then take 10 or more moves getting back into the central part of the maze to move onto another corner.

You also should prioritize between getting easter eggs, nests, and chests. Definitely go for nests, because the eggs are themed (if you like themed), and then easter eggs. Chests have a chance to hold wheel tickets, but otherwise I've gotten equipment and potions. :c

Oh that's been me about twice now, One time I was ten steps from the last egg and the second time I was TWO small steps away from the last egg. *Sigh*

Also thanks for the tips! :)

I can vouch that it is possible to get twenty after the first time, but it really amounts to luck where the eggs are located. The last time I went through the maze, there were roughly ten eggs in the northern part, which was a tremendous help in getting all twenty, which I managed to do. Really, you just have to learn the maze and keep trying. Good luck everyone!

It is a little luck, and well having a map is helpful. I have gotten all 20 three times now. (out of a lot of tries! But it's not supposed to be easy :)

It's definitely possible. I've managed to get all 20 eggs three times after my first time.

Like mentioned already, it's better to get a map and figure what's the shortest route that will cover more area, and prioritise between eggs, nests and chests. Other than that, it's up to luck where the eggs would be.

Another factor would be if you play it multiple times a day. I usually play it once a day. But once I played it about 2-3 hours after I last played, and I noticed the number of steps I was given was reduced. So that could be a factor.

I think it's a matter of finding the right route to take, and as everyone keeps saying, having a map is extremely helpful! I've been able to get all 20 once now, earlier today, and been just a couple steps away from the last egg a few times. Luck is definitely a factor too, depending on where they're located. No one is going to be able to get all twenty every time. But with 400 steps it is definitely possible!
