Never mind. I figured it out.
I've got Rosemary hired, but she's not feeding the pets, even though I have enough gold to cover the costs. What's up?

Same here? I've got her hired for 2 weeks yet she hasn't been feeding any of my pets? I've had to sell stuff in order to feed them? How did you figure it out?

If you go to your Stables and click the "View Logs" button in the upper right, a box will pop up. It may say "You lacked the required funds of x gold to feed y pets". Basically if you don't have enough gold to feed your pets, they won't get fed, even with the stablehand active.
