Week of Love - Crossword Puzzle
The object of the game is to use the clues given to fill in the blanks. It is an overall Valentine's Day-themed crossword.

Rules
1. You must complete the crossword puzzle by yourself, do not post any answers anywhere on Sylestia.
2. After completion you must upload your crossword puzzle to an image upload site, like http://imgur.com. If you choose to print out the word search, then you will need a way to scan the completed word search back onto your computer.
3. After you are finished you then need to send a PM to Officialgames with your complete crossword image and title the PM 'Love Crossword'.
4. Please do not PM me with your crossword image, it will not count if you do this. Please also do not PM me asking me to check your crossword to see if you've gotten it right or if it's been sent.
5. The due date for submitting your entry is by the end time of Forum Games for the Week of Love. Please refer to the eventual Overview thread for this final date.
Prizes
There will be 3 prizes given, 1st/2nd/3rd place. Everyone who submitted a correct puzzle will be placed in a random drawing, the three names who come up on top will be the winners.

Please Note: If you do not receive a Participation prize and sent in a submission, it means that you did not correctly solve the puzzle.

I'm sorry, I hate to be that person, but is there any chance we could get some different hints?
Some of these are incredibly abstract and could even have multiple answers that fit into the box correctly.
I'm personally struggling with 2, 6, 12, 1, and 8. I've got ideas as to what they may be but nothing is working right.
I know I'm not the only one struggling with some of these.

This is so freaking hard!!! I'd be really impressed to the people who solve it!!!

I know I'm not the only one struggling with some of these.
Think about phrases that would be on cheesy valentine's day cards or heart candies. Or a way you'd describe someone you like or think is attractive, etc. :)
If that doesn't help then I can start giving out some letters.

I would also like to chime in - like Oiseau, I'm having issues with 1, 2, 6 and 8. I believe I worked out 12 but it did take a while.
With that being said, some of these answers may be relevant to Americans and less obvious to international users. I did find all other answers (bar 12) easy to find other than the 4 I'm having issues with.
Any additional hints on those would be appreciated. In the mean time, I'll go off some of the hints Fai put in the last post and see what I find ^^

Ive been struggling with 1, 3, and 12
I believe i may of gotten the others
I now have 12, it took me a while. So now the two I'm struggling with are 1 and 3
