I suggest that the examples of a Festival's Themes should only show the pets with traits that players can actually get on that Theme from the very beginning. For example, no one can grow a Vibrant Bloom Faelora who will have the Dryad Tail trait, but the 2022 Spring Festival Themed pet examples show two such Vibrant Bloom Faeloras. This can easily lead to new-ish players trying again and again to grow a pet that will have that trait when it simply isn't possible. This wouldn't happen if each Themed example shows only traits which that Theme can be found with/hatch with.

Agreed.

I assumed if the trait was included in the design, it would be an option to obtain.

Clarity around that point would be very helpful.

As a new player, I completely agree. I had no idea a trait showing up onsite would actually be restricted. You learn a lot in the chats, but it would be nice to not get hopes high for a pretty pet then learn you can't get that.

Absolutely agree! This had me pretty confused with the Faeloras when I was perusing the themes and wasn't quite up to date on how restricted traits work.

I strongly agree, I sat and grew around 20 Vibrant Beetle Qit, just trying to get the floral wings. I wanted them so so so bad. But in the picture of them it showed possible traits. I got many that showed those traits. I am a bit devastated to know that the wings weren't possible. And I spent a lot of money trying to get those traits. Just to find out its not possible. :(

Strongly agree,
This has bothered me from the get go. Unfortunately, it has also been brought up many times and still keeps happening, so not real hopeful that it will change.

Honestly, the traits on display for the growing pets should just be the ones you can get from growing them. No philters or future possible mechanics involved. LG traits are the worse, though, because right now you can not get them by any means at all.

I had this exact issue when I came back from hiatus and tried to get nixi's and faes with the restricted LG traits. It does have this warning 'All Pet images shown below are simply examples. Actual Traits will vary depending on multiple factors' but that does not tell you that the traits you see are restricted and not obtainable through the growing method. Using the LG traits for display is actually even worse than using other restricted traits because you can't even buy disruptors to add those traits.

Exactly! I wouldn't mind so much if we could use disrupters, but even that isn't possible at the moment.

Agreed. Especially since newer res traits tend to pull from more color slots/be more complicated than older non-res.

(ex: Only res traits pull from fae a2)

So using an excessive amount of restricted traits may even mask parts of how the design looks, by not showcasing it with general obtainable traits that only pull from one or two slots

Support.
If you can't get the trait the normal way, there's just no reason to use it as an example. Even if it looks good with res traits, the entire point is for the colors to look good on obtainable ones. It's just confusing for new players.
