Im not sure if this will be a thing that many will have use for for with my projects i often have more than one vein or i go back and add restricted traits to them and have a bunch of 6v already so when i go to breed, sometimes it gets a bit confusing when im using AS to breed. Which i dont not use AS to breed xD I have a really good example:
I have 125 breedable adult female witches blood nytes, 69 of them are 6v and dont get bred unless someone needs a max nyte from me i have a few different trait combos xD The others are working on 6v dragon traits
luckily they are at the end of the ones working on 6v but i would so so so love an option to eliminate 6v from my search so i dont even see them

I don't use AS for breeding very much personally, but I do own a rather ridiculous number of 6v pets, specifically of the Asiatic Lily Qitari variety. When I want to add a new restricted trait to the gene pool, I generally want to find a compatible offspring. If I narrow the parameters down to AL qitari, only purebred, and no infertile pets, I currently get 493 possible pets to comb through. If I could cut out 6v (since it's very hard to control what trait you get from an RTD on a 6v), that would cut out 385 pets! I would only have to look through 108 pets for the right match then!
Definitely would love the option to remove 6v pets from the search (and pets with offspring, but maybe that needs its own suggestion lol)

Can we just ask for the ability to search by number of trait points? It can be more than, less than, or equal to whatever number you type in the box. I've wanted this for quite a while now.

That would be a perfect way to do it, Elune. First drop down box says more than/less than/equal to, second box lets you pick a number from 0-6.
On a related note, I'd also like to be able to exclude pets owned by a certain user. For example, when looking at pets for sale, I'd love to be able to exclude pets I own, as obviously I don't want to buy my own for sale pets. Or if someone's looking to expand their gene pool by breeding with other people's pets, it doesn't help to see their own breedable pets listed in AS. Also, when one user owns most of the pets in the whole game of a certain theme, and they're not open to allowing breedings or selling offspring, it would be great to be able to eliminate their pets from the search results.

A lot of these types of requests require dedicated database tables and tracking exclusively for the purpose of the Advanced Search. I can't just run a query on a database of 7 million entries doing such a thing. It would take 100 seconds to parse lol.
So what I would have to do is create a brand new table exclusively for the Advanced Search to utilize that stores just the specific data I am wanting to search by. Then I have to integrate this new table with anywhere this information is added, updated, or removed so that everything is synced. It is a major process.
This is why I can't really allow players to search by Pet Statistics or amount of Trait Points. The current database tables are just not structured to allow that data to be searched by.
These types of things are definitely going to be kept in mind though for the upcoming work on Breeding Grounds and Pet Broker. Once that update is released, I will probably have much better data available to me structured in a way that I can integrate it into the Advanced Search (if the Pet Broker feature won't just have that information already available).
