The pup bats at you with soft paws - you notice, as you play, that even though it's only been a few days, it has grown quite a bit.

The cougar falls into its hunting crouch, fixing its gaze on a rabbit chewing the roots of a bush. Wiggling its rump, the cougar repositions its feet, then pounces. The rabbit's squeal is cut off quickly.

Picking the body up gingerly, the great cat scratches a hole in the ground and deposits the prey, then bounds off to hunt more.

Holoholona, the figure thinks to itself, following near the cougar. Animals. A neverending constant in the balance of each world. . .hm.

She kept the fire up so it will be ready for the food

Rin flinches. Aw man, that looked like it hurt. Itami's a prick.

Well after twenty minutes, the cougar finally returns, carrying a couple of rabbits in its jaws. It gingerly lays them by the fire and sits, cleaning its paws and pelt.

I wonder, the figure thinks. I wonder. One of these animals are not quite passed. It fights. Well, I shall let it win -

One of the rabbits twitch - the one on the top of the pile. It moves feebly, its eyes wide with terror.

The fox touches it with its nose, curious about the little thing.

(I'm going to pre-tea-nd that didn't happen and con-tea-nue with tea puns and roleplaying XD)
