The pup escapes your hold and bounds to their spot, sniffing. Confident they've left, it runs around the cave like a rubber ball launched at the floor.

The cougar stirs and yawns, rolling over a bit as it does so.

The pup is chasing its tail, running wildly around the cave as it does so - yipping in joy the entire time.

The cougar stands and shakes itself from its sleepiness - the warmth of the cave has been making it drowsy. It plods over to the entrance, sticking its head outside. Looking back at you, it walks out. It's probably going hunting.

she watches it leave and plays with the pup instead
