They would have to be really soft leaves. Fortunately, there are several species of trees in this forest that serve that purpose.

It huffs in exasperation, taking up its stick again and attempting to write a word in the dirt. Unfortunately, its writing is weirdly messy and you only manage to make out several letters.

The door swings open, revealing a huge hotel suite. One wall is entirely glass, and looks out deep in what you assume to be the ocean, better hope it doesn't break. The plush, king-size bed and sofa nearby look like they're begging you to flop on them, and there are two hallways leading out, presumably to the kitchen and bathroom. Even the pristine white carpet looks like you could just lie down and take a nap on it.
You turn around, but Elysse is gone from the doorway.
