(Welcome to this lovely thr- er... game, where you may have a chance to find themed Sylesties and/or avatar items! I should not risk saying anything more for now, that is for you to find out yourself. Have fun, oh- and please pretend you never saw this message!)
Oddly, you didn't remember much of what the brochure that had been slipped under you door a few days ago had read, it had all faded from memory soon after reading and the brochure hadn't been where you'd remembered putting it down. But somehow you do recall with perfect clarity what the cheerful text on the front had broadcasted:
Come not only to explore a beautiful, untamed land home to the occasional Sylesti, but for the chance of observing and perhaps even interacting with many fascinating species, including the rare and elusive Avia, bird-like creatures known for both their beauty and mysterious eggs that have a chance of hatching anything from beetles to clothing items to even more themed Sylesties...
Intrigued and on a whim, you eventually found yourself heading to the address listed on the back of the brochure, which you had also somehow memorized. When you arrived, you found an office-like building with a rather perky woman sitting behind a mahogany desk, who stood up and greeted you warmly as you walked in.
"Hello there and welcome! You must be the new arrival..."
For a moment she consults what appears to be a small handheld tablet that you were sure she hadn't been holding a second ago.
"Ah, you're here for the full experience, I see! Well, I'm Elysse, and I'll be your guide for your time here."
Elysse glances at her tablet again and taps something on it before opening a desk drawer and producing a slim paperback volume with only the word Guidebook embossed in gold on the front and handing it to you.
"Since you signed up via the advertisment brochure, you probably already have some background information on this, but this guidebook should have everything you need to know."
You don't remember signing up for anything at all, but before you can inquire further, she puts the tablet on the desk in front of you.
"If you wish to get started, you must first fill out this form, I know it's a pain but it's required before we continue."
You find some of the questions a bit odd but she hands you a stylus, looking at you expectantly, so you begin to fill it out anyways.

"Don't be silly, it's not a list, it's a lizt. There's a big difference. Not a Liszt, either, my goodness, what are they teaching in schools these days? How do you get off the lizt and into the exploring part, you ask? Well, once someone leaves the zone or, in extreme situations, gets Lost, the next person on the lizt gets their turn, simple as that! While waiting for your turn, you are free to explore the premises, and people on the Lizt each have their own private suite! Please note that you cannot find themes and avatar items while on the Lizt."

Absolutely hates you. Will stay out of your way as much as possible, but will do their best to kill you if you happen to encounter them again.

Plants Common Name - Scientific Name - Rarity
Phoenix Maple - Ignis acernis - Uncommon
This deciduous tree is highly resistant to fire and it will recover quickly after being burned, even regrowing from damage that would kill most other trees, hence its name. However, it does not seem to recover as quickly from other damage such as animals eating the bark.
It is extremely difficult to burn down a grove of standing phoenix maples, and generally a special fuel is required to keep the fire burning, as the tree produces a chemical that resists being burned and prevents fire from spreading.
The bark of the tree is unusually dark and rough, and the leaves, while green most of the year like other deciduous trees, turn a beautiful fiery reddish-orange in autumn. It is said that the bark regrows tougher and darker after every time it has been burned, and that the ash from fires helps it grow.
Phoenix maples are being researched to aid in the creation of fireproof homes and other fire-resistant materials. The bark of a phoenix maple will remain fire resistant for a long time after being separated from the tree.
The leaves and bark are edible and taste faintly of cinnamon with a hint of warmth.
Mullavus - Repono liquidae - Rare
A tall succulent tree-like plant. They often grow very closely together in clusters and will form an almost impermeable wall if threatened.
The 'bark' of a mullavus is spongy and smooth to the touch, and will produce a clear, sweet-smelling sap if squeezed or impacted. The leaves, which are rounded and firm, produce the same sort of sap but with a greenish tint.
The sap is edible, tasting somewhat like a less sweet version of honey.

We would really appreciate it if you brought us back some information about the places you've explored, and we'll do the rest! If you somehow manage to wander into the Lost Realms, well... you'll be marked as Lost... and it's highly unlikely that we'll ever manage to find you sane and in one piece. But let's not worry about that, shall we? And while you're on the Waiting Lizt, why not let us know if you discover any hidden rooms or anything? This is a very old building, and there are probably hidden places we've yet to discover!"

Exploration Area
The Havenwoods
A lovely deciduous forest where explorers usually first find themselves. It is home to many exotic species of both animals and plants, and seems to be both atop the Squall Cliffs, yet it is possible to reach the beach at the bottom of the cliffs from here if you find the right place.
Squall Cliffs
Surrounding the entire Havenwoods are sheer cliffs that drop straight down into the Abyssal Deep. While standing at the edge of the cliffs, there are no visible safe paths down to the ocean.
Molten Beach
A small beach made of volcanic sand. It the only place where the Squall Cliffs do not directly drop down into the Abyssal Deep. When on the beach, there is no visible way to get back up onto the cliff, yet walking backwards in the direction of the cliffs seems to strangely take you back to a certain place at the edge of the Havenwoods at the top of a gentle slope, rather than a cliff, leading down to the beach.
The Abyssal Deep
A beautiful blue ocean, but strangely with no waves or tides. The entire thing is as smooth as glass, even when you move in it, it doesn't ripple. When you put your head underwater, you can move as easily as on land.
Sunflower Field
A huge sunflower field in the middle of the Havenwoods.
??? Cavern
A tunnel that leads straight to a huge natural cavern filled with blue crystals from the size of a small car to a jumbo jet.

Building
Lobby
A cheerful lobby with a few chairs and a mahogany desk. Doors and hallways seem to appear and disappear from there. If at any point a boundary in the building is hit, the person or object is transported back here. When the Ring of Return is used, the explorer is transported back here.
Shop
A small, quaint shop selling various items to aid explorers on their journey. Items seem to have an infinite stock and replace themselves once bought. There are no visible doorways into or out of the Shop. It can be accessed by switching the Ring of Return to the opposite hand if a person is out exploring, or simply asking to be taken to the Shop is a person is on the Lizt.
Suite Hallway
A hallway lined with doors to the separate player suites. There appears to be no end to the hallway, yet it is possible to hit the boundary and be transported back to the Lobby.
Suites
Individual numbered suites for each person on the Waiting Lizt. All suites feature a high-class bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom.

The Lost Realms??? Name - Creator - Danger Level (out of 10)

A world in which you feel utterly helpless and defenseless. Not exactly the worst possible emotion, but it's still crushing. The ruins of a once-majestic structure lie beneath an ominously empty, dark sky, and all around are crumbling walls. There is an ominous feeling that when the walls finally fall, something terrible will happen.

"As a potential hazard of exploring, you might end up with an enchantment or a curse! Enchantments are usually helpful buffs, while curses are usually quite the opposite. And then there are those special enchantments, which are really quite terrible... Anyways, most of these are caused by Avia, but there are other circumstances where you might acquire one of these, usually with a time limit. You'll just have to find out yourself!"

Causes the affected to instantly feel energized and alert, and remains throughout the entire duration of the enchantment. However, it only gives the affected the illusion of this energy, and so once the enchantment subsides, the affected will feel just exhausted as before, if not more, as a result of their exertions.

If you're on the Waiting Lizt, you can simply come here without the ring by asking to come here. None of these items for purchase are required for a successful exploration if you're creative and persistent enough, but it does make things easier!"

Just your typical everyday battery-powered lantern, a good light source for attracting Avia, or blinding yourself accidentally if you turn it on in the middle of the night.
Fresh Fruit ~ 1k gold
A little fresh fruit that any Avia or explorer will enjoy.
Avia Figurine ~ 2k gold
Now coming in thirteen collectible colors: Fiery, Majestic, Starlight, Steel, Depths, Misty, Oblivion, Midnight, Polar, Iridescence, Lovely, Solar, and Enchanted! Perhaps an Avia will find this flattering, or you can use it as a good-luck charm or something.
Mirror ~ 1k gold
Who knows, maybe Avia like to look at their reflections in the mirror, or you can use it to fix your hair so you look glamorous as ever while exploring.
Treat ~ 5k gold
A dog treat? A bird treat? Hey, maybe it's an Avia treat. Worth a try.
Matchbook ~ 1k gold
Just be careful not to set any forest fires with this, it's not exactly against the rules but I doubt Elysse will be very happy with you.
Notepad ~ 500 gold
A stack of little pieces of paper bound together. Nothing special about it, the paper isn't even sticky, but hey, there's a free pencil that comes with it and you never know when you might need to write something down.
Backpack ~ 5k gold
Better than your pockets for carrying things, and it could make a good weapon if it were heavy enough.
Bouncy Ball ~ 1k gold
Just a little entertainment for boring days. Wonder if Avia can bounce balls with their beaks? Maybe they'll find it entertaining, too.
Bottled Water ~ 500 gold
It's good to stay hydrated when out exploring. Better hope the water's clean, and recycle after use five times for best results.
Plastic Bag ~ 100 gold
A cute little see-through sandwich bag decorated with little ladybugs, maybe you can hold more than sandwiches with this.
Shovel ~ 2k gold
For burying or uncovering treasure, bugs, or a dead body.
