At first, Helen might appear to be cold or harsh, but she's really just not the best with talking to new people. She really does try to open up, but she's more of the 'tough love' type of person. She does have a strong sense of adventure, and is always there to protect anyone who needs support. Despite her lack of conversational skills Helen is a really good listener, and has some sound advice. She's not quick to trust but when she puts her faith in you, she'll stick with you till the end.
She likes to plan out everything before it happens, taking in the big picture and guessing the future, not the small, narrow image. Despite her haughty aloofness, she's a natural leader with her ability to quickly assess a situation and take charge. She values brains over brawn, and isn't an incredible warrior, but she can certainly fight if she has to, and she's not able sneaky, cheating moves. Helen appreciates the value of laws and rules, but she also appreciates the value of breaking them, and had gotten into trouble more than once for doing what she thought was the right thing. Despite not being able to admit when she's in the wrong, Helen will not do anything to endanger her friends, allies, or troops.

She has a twin sister named Cecily and an older sister who is away in college named Renee. They live in a small house in a town that is practically the middle of nowhere. Her entire high school has about forty students, total. They used to live in a big city, but her mother had to move for health reasons that still have never been fully explained to Helen. She spends most of her time alone in her room reading and fantasizing. Even though she is not a huge gamer, she got this game as soon as it came out because she would actually be able to go into the world, not just imagine it or see it on a screen, and escape real life.

You put the VR chip in your right temple. The pin hurt a little, but you could tell it was functioning properly. You lay down on your couch, and start up the game.
You allocate your stat points quickly, and after hitting confirm a second selection screen appears.
Choose starting weapon
There were several boxes with basic looking weapons and their names in a circle to scroll through
After choosing one of those, another text box appears
>Enter Nickname<

*If you want, I can stick around to keep you safe, I put a lot of points into my dex so as long as you can stay close enough, I can keep you in my range of protection... Im also keeping those three people safe... I want games to be enjoyed, not make people frustrated and angry that they die or arent good, I need to keep people safe until they can save themselves* Swift says in a clearly intentionally heroic tone.

*Theyre all separate players, but theyre named Flashbang, Brineia, and Midna* Swift pointed to three people in the near distance, one with light blonde hair and olive skin, one with deep blue hair that faded into white in a bob cut with pale white skin, and one with dark black hair in a longer on one side cut respectively.

I reached out and plucked a mini quarterstaff from the air. It grows to a full length staff of hardened wood. I twirled it around a bit before I confirmed the selection. A staff like this is very versatile - I can attack and parry with it, like a sword, but it can also be a walking stick, the top bar of a tent, a spear if absolutely nessceary, and besides, if someone gets annoying, I can smack them upside the head with it.
The wood staff was cool and smooth in my hand as I made my way over to the other text box. When I tap it, a transparent keyboard pops up midair. I quickly key in a name: Inkheart, a username I often used, after my love of books and writing.
