When you called out, the noise stopped for a second before becoming a little higher pitched and louder, but it didn't seem to be getting closer. It still wasn't entirely possible to figure out if that noise was a creature or a person in danger

He sighed. He hated gong in.....but human curiousiyt won over. He thought abut sending the twins a message but figured it'd be fine.

He advanced carefully but with noise and picked his way through, one hand on his weapen and one leg ready to turn him around and run.

As you moved closer, you finally found the source of the noise: A teenaged girl who was caught on what appeared to be vines, but now seeing it up close, actually appeared to be some sort of sticky, green colored web. The teen was tangled tightly in the thick webs, and it appears the web was wrapped around her mouth. Upon seeing you, she began thrashing a little and attempting to yell through the bonds.

Alex glanced around, to make sure he wasn't walking into a trap. That wouldn't be good since he hadn't bothered to let the twins know where he was and he certainl wouldn't be doing that rihgt now. That would berude and weird. Assessing the situation was a much better idea.

The girl seemed to calm down from her violent thrashing and her muffled screams became somewhat more structured

*Bbbbb-hmmmm ymm!* She tried to yell urgently *lllh mmmt!* her eyes were going wide and he was waving her head, constantly throwing her glance behind you.

Alex turns to look behind him. hand on dagger, ready to attack if he needs to.

As you turn around, you see a large, spider like creature reading up to attack. It has 8 beady black eyes and it was noticeably larger than you. It has brown fur covering its body and long, sharp fangs on its face. Seeing you turn around, it roared and lunged at you, its furry legs had sharp grasping claws on the ends of them

Alex went for a dodge-and-attack strategy, one he'd often used in video games and although a little predictable, if timed just right could do massive damage. He also tried to move the fight away from the girl and towards a less dense part of the woods. Being a YouTube gamer didn't mean he was absolutely the best at games like this but he did know one thing: strategy. Playing so many battle games would hopefully pay off now.

[Skill level up: Dodge 2]
The small screen popped up and disappeared quickly as you ducked out of the way from the attack, you quickly struck it in one of the legs with your dagger and stepped away from it, moving yourself away from the girl and closer to where you entered the woods.

The spider beast, which you can now see is called a basic arachnibeast, leaped at you again, lime green blood was coming from the leg where you struck it, and it was charging at you with a vengeance.
