Kassian followed after her, and slid his lighter into his back pocket as he did so. He rolled his eyes at her sarcastic comment, dusting his pants of slightly once he got off the ladder.
He gave a smirk and a bit of a chuckle as she jumped back from the door and the spiders.
"Pfft, who's the chicken now? Come on, you're afraid of a few of these little things?" He put one on his hand and jokingly moved it in front of her with no intention of actually putting it on her.
"I mean if you're too scared to open the door I can be a gentleman and do that for you." Kassian said in his teasing tone, opening the door.

Perseus smiled just a bit more.
"Anything scientific is alright, as long as it's come out recently because I've most likely read it already." Percy said, knowing he was more than capable of getting one. Percy couldn't help but laugh a bit since he was so excited. He'd had a suspicion that Allura had taken a liking to him, and he'd taken one to her.
"Let's go then." He said as he uncovered the entrance and slid down the ladder.

Nicolas slid down the latter after him, he himself didn't realize it but he had indeed taken a liking to Allura, a very deep one at that. He thought they were just close friends, he didn't even know love existed outside of family. He was smiling ear to ear though, ready to help her anf Queenie.

He rubbed the back of his head a bit nervous at the question he had walked himself into " uh just a lucky guess" he said with a smile

Perseus walked towards the nursery area, where Allura sat a little blankly, redoing Queenie's braid since she messed up on it earlier. He went ahead and let Nicolas go first, since he was better at the whole comfort thing. He was more of the suffer in silence type, so he didn't know much on that area.

Allura was talking to Queenie in a happier tone, trying to lift her spirits since she'd had a bit of a break down earlier. Alu hated to cry or be angry in front of Queenie, and treated her like her own child. Although she typically said they were sisters, she wanted no harm to come to her, ever. Allura was quite scary when it involved Queenie's well-being.
"You keep wiggling Q, I need you to hold still." She laughed a bit, trying to tie the braid off.

"Sorry Alu." Queenie smiled, not fidgeting with her eyepatch anymore. It always got itchy right when Alu was braiding her hair or having her sit still. She saw Pers and Nicolas before Allura did.
"Hi big brothers!" She grinned, and she called everyone else 'big brother" or "big sister" besides Allura.
