Lucilla could see the face and the grey eye of the boy. He had noticed himself that he had unusual physical traits, since he had been trying to hide his face before. He was not aware that he had these unusual traits because the blood of a god was running his veins.
"We dont need grain. We to find the sacred grain of the Goddess Ceres. It is a powerful relic."
It would be difficult to explain everything to him, but she had to try.
"I think your father is Neptune, and that the Fates made you come to Placentia because you are meant to help us in our quest."
She glanced at Cincia to see if she could help her to convince him she was telling the truth.


In the meantime, she had heard the commentaries of Titus and Oppius. So the second was the son of Bacchus. Already drunk, apparently! And the first one was a swift, enthousiastic and cunning boy who loved stealing. He was the heir of Mercury, without a doubt!




(Yes, Neptune and Pluto are brother. You are cousins. On both side, as your father and your mother were brother and sister! If I remember well it's mentionned in the Percy Jackson serie that all the greek demi-gods are related, but it's said that the DNA of the Gods is different from the one of the humans and so consanguinity is not a problem among them)

Cincia nodded..."yes we were all sent to find a specific grain.Though we need to be quite. Someone is watching us" she looked up from her hood

(I think ships would not really be a problem. A lot of gods were married to their siblings or relatives. We could decide that it's like in Percy Jackson and that it does not matter if they are related on their godly side. Also in Ancient Rome mariages between cousins were very common, they were not seen as shocking.)

Caius could see the seriousness from her face, she is telling the truth. "Neptune? Why father? Tha- wait that makes some sense." He turns to look at his trident which as resting in his lap."A deep sea colored trident. Me loving the ocean."he thought. "Looks like a bit confusing for me but i will repay your kindness some how. Let me help you on this "Quest"." Caius said as he extends his hands out as he stood up. He smiles as his hood stays on him.

She looked behind them, towards Cincia she aleady met and the other.
"I think we should introduce ourselves to the rest of the group."
She walked towards them.
"Hello. I guess you are all here for the grain. My name is Atilia Lucilla, you can call me Lucilla. The boy I was talking too is Caius, I have good reasons to think that he's one of us too."

"Hello" Caius said with a smile as he was introduced by Atilia. He put his grey hood on as he holds his trident dearly. To him he was excited for the adventure and even meeting new people. His iron shackles clang together as he spoke.
