She paused.
"At least you says he has no more money. You did not kill him, right?"

"He was as powerful as a merchant and i may have or may have not almost scared to death?" Caius said. He moves back and forth as he has a devilish smile on him. The trident on his back does small clangs as it hits his iron shackles a bit.

"If you did not kill him, it's good."
The traditionnal sentence for the death of a Roman Citizen was death for all his slaves, not only the one who was guilty of the crime. If he had been dead, people would have tried to find Caius. But if he only scared him, they were fine.
"Even if he wants a revenge and finds you, he will not be able to pay enough men to be a threat to the heirs of the god. And if you are caught, it will be his word against mine. If he is only a merchant, my testimony will have more impact than his, even if he says the truth."
She seemed sure of herself, and there was pride in her voice.
"We should keep the plan I told you before. If someone ask something before we have taken your shackles off, I will tell them you are my slave. If we can get them off, I will attest that you are a free citizen. No son of a god should be slave."

"I am thankful but i am not a slave." Caius pouts. He crosses his arms and blows up his cheeks. Looking a the other direction. He knew were the merchant is now and was extremely grateful to Atilia for her offered and he going that far.

Titus looked at the girl who had addressed him. Well, he shouldn't call her a girl. She was very much a young lady. He smirked at her, the mischief still in his eyes. "The name's Titus Salvius Bambalio. But, of course, call me Titus," he said. "And I like to make people guess who I am. It's more fun that way." His one gold eye and one blue eyes glittered cheerfully.

Oppius smiled at the young lady. "Oppius is the name," he said excitedly. He was very obviously drunk. His eyes were unfocused and he was just too..... happy? He wobbled slightly, but he didn't look like he would fall over any minute.
