Rose happened to be sitting on the couch doodling, when she saw the news. "Bleh, Sonic this Sonic that, they can't even figure out who lead the rescue mission."

Frost flattened her ears and made a small amused sound. "I guess it's because he basically builds his career on that kind of stuff, so their assumption isn't too far-fetched," she said. "But that topic's been on the news for days now,"

Rose groaned. "I knooooooooooooooooooow. Can't they let it go? It's on every single news network. Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh." Rose sank deep into the chair, a little silver colored moon pendant hung from her orange-ginger colored neck.

"That is what they categorize as 'real news'. I think it's a get rich quick thing with news stations," Frost replied, changing the channel several more times to get out of the news section. "I feel sorry for people who just want to check out the stock market,"

Rose's ears twitched in amusement, her amber colored eye reflected the T.V. the yellow stuff that went down the side of her face from under the rose was almost exactly the same color as her only visible eye.

Frost laughed quietly. She hadn't been serious. Even if one was just checking out the stocks, this kind of information was usually very popular among Mobians and Humans alike. She even enjoyed it. She didn't say anything though... Until one of her infamous questions popped into her mind. "Do you know who actually led it?" the white wolf asked. "Was it you guys?"

Rose nodded sheepishly. "With a little back up of course...." Rose sighed, scratching an itch on her wrist. "I wish I came too. But I had to stay here and guard the place with Piper."

"Huh," Frost murmured, sliding down in her seat as the TV blared. "...And tonight expect occasional thunderstorms, temperature in the low 60's..."

Rose looked bored. She felt bored. She stood up and sneaked into the kitchen which faintly smelt of ketchup and pancakes, mmm, she dug into the cupboards and found the teeny hole where she stashed some candy (Ruby is very strict about staying healthy).

Frost changed the channel several more times then hit the 'off' button absently. She went down stairs and pulled her laptop out of her backpack. She clicked the search engine and looked at the ceiling as if thinking about what to type. She turned that off too. She realized she couldn't wait to go on an adventure of some sort.
