Ruby laid back on her raven black bed, her red fur bristling. Today had been exhausting and she hoped to get some sleep...her eyes felt heavy... soon she passed out tossing and turning to another horrid nightmare....

Frost's ears were perked up and her tail waved like a banner with every movement. Backpack heavy, she trotted along. It was almost nightfall, but the streetlights lit up the path ahead of her, along with flashing 'open' signs and animated advertisements. she stopped in front of a tv store, where the late night news was on. They were giving details on a rescue mission led by Sonic, but this was all old information she'd already heard.

And they had saved her life.

Or so she assumed.

And that's why she was headed out. She didn't want this to happen to anyone ever again. She would learn to fight and form a resistance, or maybe join an existing one. She knew Team Sonic was way out of her league, but maybe she could find other victims and start there. She shook her fur and broke into a sprint. First thing's first though, find a place to rest for the night. She saw a house and rang the doorbell.

Ruby heard faint ringing and groggily opened her eyes and slid out of bed quickly skirting over the carpet to the door. She opened it slightly and she sighed spotting a 16 year old wolf at her door. Just some kid..wait its the kid on the news....hmm... She opened the door wider and all she said was, "Come on in. I believe your looking for a resistance of some sort... you found it. Unless I'm wrong..."

Frost dipped her head. "Thank you very much, and you're right, I am looking to join or mount a resistance. My name's Frost. What's your's?" She asked kindly.

Ruby tugged her jet-black glove and answered in the way she was trained to do in order to keep her identity safe. "My name's Blood." she pointed a thumb back behind her where 3 others were. One was sleeping on the couch bandages covered her arm. Another was in the kitchen scrubbing thoughtfully even though the pot seemed clean. The last was staring at a feather in her hands."And that's Sunburst, Piper, and Rose."

"It's a pleasure to meet you all. i hope i can find a way to make myself useful," Frost said politely.

Sunburst the Wolf/Piper the Hedgehog

The one called Sunburst coughed. "A new member?" she asked weakly opening her eyes. As soon as she did this Piper dropped the pan and rushed over to her. "Sunburst save your strength go back to sleep." Sunburst wanted to refuse but fell asleep anyway. Piper quickly changed her bandages.


Ruby/ "Blood" the Fox

Blood turned around and walked briskly towards Sunburst. She put a jet-black gloved hand on her forehead.
"She's sick. Great. Just great. This can't be any good. Sick and injured..."

Frosts ears perked up. "I might be able to help," she said trotting up to Sunburst and touched her for head. "Mild fever. Dry throat. Probably over-all weakness." She said after a moments inspection. "Can't do much about the throat 'cept give her water, but the fever is an easy fix, and the weakness will clear up with time," Frost said. "With my limited experience, that is," she added humbly.

Ruby

"Hmm...alright..." She put a hand to her chin pondering something. "Well would you like me explain to the wounds?"

Frost looked the wolf up and down. "Still bleeding, but more of a trickle then a flow," she said, clasping a gloved paw over on of Sunburst's wounds, firmly but gently. "That should speed up the clot. Can you tell me how she got like this and how long ago?" Frost asked.
