Name: Ibis
Age: 7 years
Gender: female
Tribe: RainWing
Rank: Prophecy dragonet
Appearance: Like all (most) RainWings, she changes colors to blend/emotions, but she has a tendency to be mostly grey because of tragedy that happened in her past. The one dragon that can make her smile (so far) is her brother (really a ShadeWing named Ink), when she smiles her colors are said to light up the air around her. She has a long, elegant snout and deep chocolate eyes. There is a scar reaching from her front shoulder all the way to her horns, going through her eye.
Personality: Mostly quiet, often with her head in the past, and caring. When she is happy it makes others happy too from watching her joy. She is distracted easily and often forgets where she is or what she was doing. Hates ShadeWings for what happened to her family.
Backstory: Her mother's terrified eyes peer at Ibis, and she sees the ShadeWing attacker reflected in their depths. The large assassin pounced, but her mother jumped, knocking the much bigger dragon out of the air. "Go," she calls to Ibis and Monsoon. "Hide yourselves where they will not find you." Ibis runs in terror, her primitive camouflage she only just learned to use causing her to appear as a shimmering streak. She can't suppress the terror also flashing across her scales. If it weren't for the pounding rain common to the territory, she would be very visible, but in the commotion no one noticed the two escaping dragonets. Suddenly she realized that Monsoon is no longer with her. She turned around, searching the crowd, but all she could see were the grey of ShadeWing wings everywhere. She sees a familiar flash out of the corner of her eye and sees her brother attacking a small ShadeWing. Monsoon was on top and the ShadeWing was clearly struggling. A slightly larger ShadeWing suddenly attacked her brother, dragging him of the smaller member of his tribe. She saw her brother fall, blood coating him, and ran the opposite direction, tears helping the raindrops in soaking her scales. She sat in a hollow tree trunk, sobbing to herself, when suddenly she heard a familiar voice calling her name. "Monsoon?" she asked, surprised, as she was sure that she had seen him die. "How did you escape from that ferocious ShadeWing?" "Well, uh... I just did using my mystical RainWing hide-y thingy" Ibis was confused but didn't press it. "What about Mom and Dad?" "I'm sorry. They died."
She knows who her parents and brother are because of a venom test.
Powers: yeah... nope
Family/Kin: her parents are dead, not going to bother with names, her brother was Monsoon
Relationships: is super close to her "brother"
Other: nope
I'm going to do Ink and others on a separate post

Name: Ink (Monsoon)
Age: seven years
Gender: male
Tribe: ShadeWing
Rank: prince (former)
Appearance: Almost black with darker extremities fading to a lighter body and rosy grey belly scales, dark black eyes.
There's a photo here but it won't show up
Monsoon was a RainWing, so colors vary, but had a long tail, wide face, and playful eyes, but is covered in scars from his last fight.
Personality: Ink has a more peaceful nature that caused teasing from his ShadeWing peers, as well as an aversion to killing. As a prince, he was offered prisoners so he could gain killforms, but he refused, giving them to his younger brother Dim instead. Monsoon was playful and supportive, Ibiss twin and best friend. He also was fiercely loyal and willing to fight for his family, as well as quick to judge and stereotype.
Backstory: Why aren't you more like your brother, Ink? What happened with you? How are you the older hatchling? Your brother is better than you in all regards. Ink seethed with silent fury at his father. Everything Ink did was for his brother. He allowed Dim his jewelry, his higher seat at the table, his education, even his numerous killforms! He could be the better one- if he wanted. But Dim wanted it more, so Ink gave up everything. But his sacrifice counted for nothing in his father's eyes, and he would have to show him before he was cast out to wander alone like the tribes less noble members, and he would have no survival skills or killforms. "Fine. I'll prove it to you. Bring me with you on the raid tonight." What are you doing? his mind screamed. Images poured into his head of the blood of prisoners and their final, dying screams. What did I just get myself into? "You know the consequences if you fail. I won't be able to hide your failures any longer." "I understand," Ink answered.
RainWings were everywhere, seen and unseen, venom flying through the air and blood covering the wet leaves. Water dripped over his eyes, making it hard to see, but suddenly a RainWing was visible, flashing red with anger and attacking a familiar ShadeWing. Dim! Before he knew what he was doing he ran to his brothers side and flung the RainWing off, and he landed with a sickening thud. Ink felt his scales shift. His first killform! He sat with a shocked expression, staring at his talons. Oh moons oh moons oh moons! He ran to the RainWing to check for a pulse, even though he knew he was dead. Suddenly a thought flashed through his mind. Ibis Must find Ibis memories ran across his consciousness in no particular order, a female RainWing laughing, that same female racing him, her sleeping, eating, talking Ink realized these were not his memories. This was the dragon he had killed. He panicked. Why was his killform still there? Was this normal? But his thoughts were his own, and he could feel nothing like a presence inside his head. Only the memories remained, and with it, a strong urge to find Ibis. He set out to find her, calling her name, his voice unfamiliar and strange, his wings and flight different. He found her in a hollow, crying. "Monsoon?" she asked. Ink froze. What could he do? Tell her that she wasn't him, that her brother was dead at his own talons? No. For he was already madly in love. He could pretend. He couldn't go back to his family now, Ibis needed him.
Powers: He retains the memories of his killforms (don't know if this is normal)
Killforms: Monsoon
Family/Kin: his brother is Dim, parents are the king and queen (whoever happens to play them, or I could change it to like the queens brother or something)
Relationships: has a crush on Ibis, who of course doesn't notice because it's supposed to be her brother
Other: I was going to put something here, but now I forgot.

Please excuse the fact that it deleted all my quotation marks, I'm not sure why, and I didn't want to go back and find them all again.

Oh and I kinda made the ShadeWings seem kind of evil but if they can only defend themselves by killing others usually cultures structured that way are like that, pushing for dominance by who and how they kill or like the Urgals in Eragon, not by nature "evil" but need to kill because of how their community is organized.

-I...think I understand what's going on here. He is accepted! And no, it's not normally normal to retain the memories.
In my mind, the ShadeWings tend to be much more isolationist and stay on their island to the west of Pyrrhia, and when they turn 5, I think it was, they make the choice of what they do with their lives. Some dragons, like Darkness, leave the island to explore, and others stay there. Staying is by far the most common option.
