Hitari looks a bit scared, then angry. "You do realize that if she's not here, she can't know what happens, right? Even Shia couldn't feel us all the way out here, apparently." He glances at her. "Sorry."

"No, it's no problem," Shiawase says quietly.

Trust me when I say some things can get worse, Itami hisses. Should you banish me, you have no idea the destruction that will follow.

"I'm perfectly fine with this hellhole being destroyed. Everyone else living here hated it just the same."

Rin gulps. Somehow he feels that whatever the Acolytes are plotting will be not particularly good for his wellbeing.

Shiawase looks up at Hitari. "You. . .want this world to be gone?"

"Maybe," he replies grimly. "I don't really care if I'm a duplicate of myself, but I always hated this place. Ever since I was born."

Rin. Kanashimi tries to tap your shoulder, but apparently forgot that they can't touch living things. You've. . .you've been with Hitari for a while. And Itami, I'm guessing. Did. . .did Itami ever take Hitari? Like, uhm. . .oh, I think it's called something like "procession"? "Possession"?

Or perhaps this place hated you, Itami says, not missing a second. Even before us you had already felt intent.

"That," Hitari says sharply. "I told them to stop. They didn't listen, so they paid the price. I didn't enjoy any of it until you made me."

I made you do nothing. I merely pushed you in the right direction.

"Ita - ah, Hitari, what is he talking about?" Shiawase asks urgently.

Itami shrugs. Eh. If you say so. He leans down and looks eye-to-eye with Shiawase. Do you see nothing strange, ever, with Hitari?

"N-no," she stutters. "Nothing was, or is, ever wrong."

N-no, this is a little important, I guess. . .and I. . .never get to talk, Kanashimi says. Anyway, uhm. . .if. . .if I were to "possess" Hitari, I'm fairly certain that means Itami can't do anything. . .killing Hitari would be destroying me, which would throw off our balance, and if he were to try entering as well, I. . .don't think anything good would happen.

Really? Well. After some experiences with Hitari, I can safely say I know almost everything about him and his past. Itami tilts his head. Do you have questions?
