Newt turned them up to a reasonable degree, though he wouldn't be sure until Ash started talking. "Could you repeat that again? Sorry, I had my hearing aids off."

THen again I didn't realize a camper at my summer camp has hearing issues like I kidna noticed but was like "whatever" and then only when he misheard someonethe teacher said it clicked XP)
