Nicote and Newt were outside the library. Or rather, Nicote was waiting while Newt debated if he should get just one more book.

Ash was on a stroll, his dark clothes accenting his pale-ish skin. His silver eyes stared into anyone's that dared make eye contact

"Look, Bugface, just get the darn book and be done with it." Nicote threw up his hands. Then sent them back down to answer a phone call, wandering some distance away.

Newt ran into the library, almost banging into Ash. "Sorry!" he called, going inside.
