"Nope," Rin says with mock cheerfulness in his voice. "Haven't felt save this whole [dang] time, thank you very much for asking."
"Oh, no problem," Shiawase replies with the same tone. "After all, I'm here to make people feel happy and cared for."
Ah, yes, Itami says. You care so very much, Shiawase. Too much, I think. Happiness is your dedication, yet you are nothing but a feeling or a thought to nearly everything and everyone. Does that not make you. . .yearn for some recognition?
She turns a light shade of red, but calms down quickly. "In the end, everyone gets what they want. No matter the cost, their happiest moment will come."
Meanwhile, by the house, Hitari is retching. For some reason. He's probably fine (:

Rin gives Hitari a slightly disdainful look, and turns away just a smidge.

Why am I getting sick? This has never been an issue - Hitari coughs mid-thought and continues being sick.
Itami glances back at Hitari. Hm. He's never been sick before. . .interesting. I wonder if that a new type of pain as well as experience.
"Probably from being around you," Shiawase mutters. "Loneliness is a toxic thing, especially if you're living with the embodiment of it."

Rin presently feels about as powerful and significant as a dying earthworm. He has absolutely no idea what he should so- what he CAN do, for that matter.

("powerful and significant as a dying earthworm" that is now my favorite simile ever xD)
Kanashimi sniffles and sits up, done with their crying. Shiawase, can we. . .go. . .?
"You can, if you want," she replies, glancing back at Hitari. "I. . .I want to help fix Itami."
Well, this was a big buildup to nothing, Itami says, sounding bored. I was hoping someone would decide to act.

(bahahha! lol)
Rin looks to Shiawase. Oh god, she's still calling Hitari Itami? I mean.... maybe that's for the best, but that could come back to bite him in the butt someday....

Ugh, you're all so boring, Itami mutters. I could've taken a handful from the village and broken them, but nooooo. . .
Shiawase glares at him. "You do not interfere with my work. Loneliness is only meant to be a thought or a feeling; there's no reason for you to exist, Hitari. You should be but a concept."
O-oh, Shiawase. . .don't you think that's a little mean. . .? Kanashimi stutters. I mean, we don't really know exactly what these three have been through -
"We know enough to be rightfully upset," she retorts.
