Phoenix sipped around, put on his brace, and came back. Newt didn't notice, busy watching the raiders. "Wha...?"

Phoenix and Newt both drew their knives and had a blast.

Peggi climbed onto a wall that looked sturdy enough and started balsting raiders, laughing and yelling taunts. She could be seirously scary sometimes., Phoenix thought as he doubleslashed a particularly feindish raider who had decided Phoenix was a tree.

After awhile, the remaining raiders fled but not without shooting at the group several times.
