Mm, fair enough, Itami says. He places his hand on Shiawase's shoulder.

She launches away, eyes blazing bright. You don't see everything that happens, but you do see is her hand opening, a blinding orb of light blooming in her palm.

The next thing you feel is searing heat - an explosion of white light detonates after she flings the orb at Itami. It doesn't quite blind you, but it feels like it should. . .

You see Hitari vanish - he either moved away incredibly fast, or he's been disintegrated. Kanashimi is still there, but it's almost impossible to make out their figure.

The light fades, and you see a few things:

- Shiawase is panting heavily with wide eyes, looking angry yet terrified.
- Kanashimi is curled up, shivering and crying a little.
- Itami is standing in the same spot, arms folded.
- Hitari is back by the house, leaning on the front wall, looking sick.

(wow, great job writing that Soy xD)

Rin's heart is beating so fast he feels like it might explode. "Nope nope nope, I'm out of here, goodbye, good day, have a nice life!" He yelps, turning and trying to run.

Shiawase swivels her head around, giving you a paralyzing death glare. "No, you're staying. You are going to explain some things."

There's nothing to expl - Itami is interrupted as she puts her index finger up. "No - there is, Hitari. We are all going to sit down and talk."

Itami facepalms. I forgot how you manage terror. Of course.

But you're much closer to breaking now, he mutters to himself.

Rin doesn't want to talk, but he's afraid of what the two Acolytes might do if he runs. He sits down, confused and fearful.

Itami stays standing, tapping his fingers on his arm. Shiawase, this is stupid. You know that.

Shiawase intensifies her glare. He shrugs and sits down.

Hitari coughs, still leaning against the house while Kanashimi continues crying quietly.

"Rin, did you know Hitari was here?" she asks.

"Yes," Rin admits. "I did."

Itami fakes a cough. I don't think that matters.

Hitari slides down the wall, sitting with his back to it. "I. . .am gonna be sick," he mutters to himself.

"Beacause I wasn't sure how safe that would be," Rin says quietly.
