Hi alice, this is really frustrating me because it appears that the nurtures AREN'T increasing the health point at all on your pet. I will be happy to refund your philter of acumen and place you on the order list again because we probably got this wrong.

Health has always been able to be increased via Nurturing. Only Mana cannot.

There's a balance equation that is uses and weighs health vs the other stats.

After it weighs the stats, the lowest weight is chosen as the nurtured stat. That's why it's static for anyone who goes to nurture that specific pet until the stat changes and it's recalculated.

Health is a bit harder to increase if you're still increasing the base stats because it's a much bigger number than the base stats.

I forget the exact weight equation, so I can't offer anymore info that that.

But, yes, if a pet has 1999 base health, it can eventually get there through nurturing.


and with all the other stats being max health should increase now it's a hatchling. if it don't we will see what we do. i love the design non the les^^

Now this was back in May, so maybe it was fixed but it might have also fallen through the cracks with how much stuff Krin has been working on. I know I have never seen health increase with nurturing.

yes i know i have bin breeding for a long time and i have never seen health increase with nurturing either. but if Krin sayes it works then it should :P if not i have the right to complain ^^ (i mean i saved the messages to make sure) so if my littel cutie don't have 2000 health ones she is adulecent i will let Krin know. becaus then the bug is probebly still there.

i have mailed this to Krin as well, but my logic tells me this pet should be hungry and noting els

It should - it might be a rounding error since it's only 1/2000th off.

I'll take a look at the code and see if I can figure out why.

Excellent, hopefully it is indeed fixed. I will try and remember to nurture tomorrow and see if it now is hungery (it was weak previously). It would be really nice if this started working properly. :-)
