When nurturing hatchlings, you can boost the lowest stat the pet currently has.
Working out with a pet will boost its strength.
Reading it a book will boost its intelligence.
Playing with a pet will boost its dexterity.
Racing a pet will boost its agility.
Giving a hatchling food, I would assume, should boost its health. Yet this never shows up as an option.
I was recently asked if nurtures can boost a hatchling's health if all of their other stats (strength, intel, dex, and agil) are at maximum. Theoretically, if giving the hatching food is meant to give it health, then that should be the only option left. Instead, on such a pet with all other stats at 100 and health below 2000, nurturing them ALWAYS required working out with the pet which boosts strength (already maxed.)
Shouldn't it be giving us the option of giving the pet food to boost health? Or is this feature bugged or disabled for some reason? (If disabled, why is the option to give the hatchling food still there?)

I wrote a response and then I think I remembered what happened.
I think it originally was that way... but because Health goes all the way to 2000 (if you were to take 1/20th of the value) compared to 100... the vast, vast majority of pets were nothing but hungry because Health was always disproportionately lower than the other stats.
And then I think because of this, I either removed it or just made it super rare to be selected or something.
I'll have to take a look and see.

>.> Yeah, I can see why the comparative maximum health to maximum stat values would make it a little skewed. They'd be a lot of hungry pets...
What if... after a pet has maxed stats everywhere else (all others at 100) we get 5 or 10 points of health for every 5 nurtures? :3
It'd be super helpful for hatchlings like this one who currently can't be helped at all even though it's almost at full max: https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=3108690 and it wouldn't be nurture-breaking since it'd only be an option for pets that can only benefit from more health.
(Just a hopeful suggestion from an experienced stats breeder trying to help other stats breeders. >.>; )

Haha, yea. I don't disagree that it could be improved.
It's just a matter of finding time to set aside to make the changes.
