This is my entry:
Head: Blossom Headband - Pink flowers connected with a green vine
Held: Butterfly Staff
Outift: Spring Bouquet Garments - Dress decorated with pink blossom
Back: Flying Butterflies - Some of them should be at different angles and the wings of those butterflies intricately decorated.

Ha! got it up!
Head item: simple pink bow with a tapered light blue end followed by a stripe of blue and dark pink.
Outfit: simple white neck strap dress with light blue, blue, dark pink, light pink.
I don't really like the long bow ends on the head item should be smaller and more to the side...
Goddess I suck at paint...
I based this simple outfit after the new fairy type eeveelution Slyveon.
Pinks are mostly associated with spring and strangely enough Slyveon reminds me of spring.
P.S. Ribbons are cool!
will add color slots soon

I know I shouldn't have waited with posting this xD
I also had a butterfly staff in mind. I will post it, since I think it is different enough (I hope you agree)
But first off: Sorry for the low quality of the pictures. I do not currently own a printer or scanner...
That's the butterfly staff/staff of freedom (I associate spring with freedom, since its the time of year where going outside is fun again, after we've been coped up inside during the cold and dark winter.)
this is the overall image of the outfit (next outfit picture has a bit more detail)
I mainly need to post this pic for the head item. Which is based on a flower - which I do not know the English name of. It's called a 'Sneeuwklokje' in Dutch. So I'll run with that name. (or Galanthus Nivalis which is a more international name) Anyway that's supposed to be a hat/head item.
Example of the flowers:
That's the pic with the details. The top has 3 different flower/leaf patterns, which should be colourable to your hearts desire. The clothes are a bit inspired by Peter Pan/Tinkerbell (Is she called that in English? - I think I need to go to bed now xD)
Dunno if I'll make a male design, so for now only the female base

Due to some layering issues that I've been having, I put some items on the female, and the other items on the male.
Outfit - Nature Elf
Wings - Iridescent Dragonfly Wings
Head - Crown of Thorns
Outfit - Nature Elf
Back - Sword
Held - Bluejay
Edited due to a few minor mistakes in the design. Oops.

*breathes heavily* I finally finished my entry for the design an Avatar Outfit for the Spring Festival. Here is my entry~
(click image for a larger image)
I know I'm stretching this a bit, as the entry has to be Spring themed. So, I'm going with the whole dragons for Chinese New Year and Spring Training, because all disciplined fighters do spring training, right? ^^u
This is the Dragoon Set for the female avatar. The male avatar is the exact same, you might just not get as good of a view of the spikes on the heel of the boot and on the calf of the leg armour. This was all done using acrylic paints for the amour, helm, and spear. The Draconic Aura was done using watercolour paints. The black blob in the picture is paint from my brush when I accidentally dropped it. ^^u Luckily, it didn't land on any of the parts I painted.
Avatar Outfit: Dragoon Armour - male and female armour is the exact same, only you may not get as good of a view of the spikes on the heel of the boot and on the calf of the leg armour, and how the chest plate is accentuated. The black parts are actually leather. Dragoons need the flexibility in their armour when fighting and doing their signature Dragoon jump, hence the wider gaps of leather instead of more metal. The image in the stomach area is a dragon.
Avatar Wings/Back Item: Draconic Aura - I am not sure where to put this as there is a Runic Aura in the Wings section, yet Phantom Dragons is in the Back section, so this could go in either section I guess. Anyway, I've always had this idea, and when Black had the Dragon Phantoms Item made, it inspired me to do it. Dragoons have a Draconic Aura from the draconic power they have obtained. Those with exceptional sight may catch glimpses of it, unless the Dragoon wishes for all to see, then everyone may bare witness to the awe inspiring sight!
Avatar Held Item: Dragoon Spear - the bread and butter weapon of all Dragoons, the spear/lance! I had fun making this, and the little dragon who's wing makes the spear head, actually has an eye painted the same colour as the eyes on the Dragoon helm, it's just hard to see. His tail coils around the spear. I drew the spear away from the hand of the avatar as I didn't want it to obscure any of the armour.
Avatar Head Item: Dragoon Helm - All Dragoon's need a Helm to protect their heads! I've always enjoyed the dragon head helmet design.
All of these designs were inspired by Kain from Final Fantasy IV, as well as other various Dragoon designs out there. :) I hope you all enjoy~

Avatar outfit: Herald of Spring (Male + female versions)
Avatar wings: Leaf blade wings (1st image)
Avatar held item: Swan's Song
Avatar head item: Circlet of Spring (1st image), Spritely wig (2nd image, it's the hairstyle + berry pins altogether)
What says Spring better than bright, cheery colours and sticking flowers on everything you possibly can? 8D My main inspiration for this was lilies! I drew the shoes in a way that made it looked like one of the feet was turned, just to add a bit of variety to the male base. Might add in a back and 2nd head item later, but I'm pretty satisfied with this i went crazy with the colouring don't mind me
EDIT: Added in a female version of the outfit ^v^

Outfit and head: Floral-inspired formalwear, and usually flowers are associated with spring.
Female:
The main dress body is in one colour, the sleeves and lace are lighter colour 2, while the flowers, gradient and shoes are colour 2. It was supposed to be really fancy, but I had to tone it down.
Male:
I think the suit body could be colour 1, while the flower colour and pattern be colour 2. The white parts can stay white, I guess? I wanted to have another layer, but it will be too much to fit another flower with it. And hopefully it isn't too flowery, especially with the pattern. XD
Wings:
Bird-butterfly mixture. (Butterflies are spring-ish, right?) The general shape would be a bird's, and pretty much everything else would be a butterfly's. The colour 1 in this case is blue, the colour 2 is cyan. The spotting gradient is in black.
This example is when both colours are white, to give a better picture of the spotting and gradient:
clicky
And maybe sparkles like those from the sugar plum fairy wings can be added?
Back item: Eastern dragon.
Well, Chinese New Year is also known as the Spring Festival(according to Wikipedia and some travel guides), and so an Eastern dragon would be fitting for it. Hopefully. Maybe it is too far off what most think of as spring-themed, but I do want to see it as a back item.
This is based on the traditional Chinese dragon, except I made some changes to it with the scales, fur and the nose (I dislike the traditional dragon's human nose, they just look weird to me). I realised I also forgot the second front leg and whiskers, but I think it is enough to get the picture.
The background is just there to show the clouds, as the forum background is too light to do it well. Also, the scales in this picture is colour 1, while the fur is a greyer and darker version of colour one (made by adding 50% opacity black layer, and a 20% opacity white layer). Just an idea for more colour variation?
Edit: added my entry for wings.
Edit 2: added a back item.
