"Awh, wait!" Shiawase says, bounding up to you and grasping one of your hands. "You can't really go anywhere, though!"

"Shia, it's not like that house is. . .safe," Hitari says. He grins. "But let's be honest, nowhere's safe in this place."

She thinks about it for a moment before giggling. "Hehe, I suppose you're not wrong!" Shiawase lets you go.

. . .uhm. . .if you're going somewhere, then, I can come with if you'd like, Kanashimi says, still hovering at your side. . . .but that'd probably be even harder to deal with. . .

Rin doesn't know what to do. He stands there, looking very confused, for a while, then sighs and slumps over, shaking his head. "At this point I don't even know what I'm doing, I'm so confused." He looks up at the two Acolytes and one.... um.... Hitari, eyes back to brown and more tired than ever. "Do with me what you will. I don't even care."

He stands there, looking very confused, for a while, then sighs and slumps over, shaking his head. "At this point I don't even know what I'm doing, I'm so confused." Hitari opens his mouth to say something, but Shiawase squeals with excitement and grabs your hand again. "You don't sound like you're having fun! C'mon, make a wish~!" She's bouncing up and down in anticipation.

Please, for your own life, don't do something that can be interpreted badly, Kanashimi mutters. That happens way too often. . .

"Oh, please?" Shiawase asks. "All the little girl asked for was grass! And that wasn't very fun. . ._{but at least it made her happy}. . ."

Hitari pats her on the shoulder. "Shia, Isorin probably has enough on his plate right now." He glances up at you. "How about this waits for another day?"

Shiawase ponders this. "Hmm. . .alright," she finally says.

"But you'll owe me a wish of yours one day, okay?" she asks you.

It's been decades and he hasn't changed. . .at all, Kanashimi whispers. How does someone do that? He even managed to continue dodging Itami, it looks like. . .

Rin sighs, looking slightly relieved but still a little tense. "...Sure," He says weakly. Felix bites him on the neck, and he reflexively swats at the owl. "Ouch! Watch it!" He looks at Felix. "...Are you hungry?"
(Shiawase inwardly reminds me a little of the Corrupt a Wish thread in Off Topic forums XD)

She sticks her tongue out at him. "Well, it's a reflex, so. . .so. . .there!"

Oh, it is nice seeing them together again. . .even if it's. . .uh, like splash-damage embarrassment? Kanashimi says. If that even makes sense. . .

Hitari points at the owl. "What does the little guy eat? I should be able to get something."

"Really? ....If you don't mind, that'd be amazing! Um, he's an owl so I'd expect he eats.... you know, mice, shrews, small birds, the like." Rin smiles timidly, swatting Felix away as the owl tries to nip him again.

Hitari narrows his eyes. "What are you trying to say?"

Uh, uh. . .n-nothing, Kanashimi sputters. It might just be easier for me since. . .I can go through stuff. . .and I'm cold enough to probably. . .kill something. . .

Hitari stares at them for a second, then laughs a bit. "Oh, I see what's going on. Yeah, sure. Go prove yourself, then."

Kanashimi bows their head and wisps off into the trees.

"Well, they're. . .eager for new friends," Hitari mutters. "They've never done something like that before."

"Huh," Rin says absently. Felix climbs up his back to sit on his shoulder again.
