The smell is heavenly - well, at least when it's compared to the grey scent of everything else around here.

The meat cooks rather quickly, and the smoke billowing around it seems to have given it a good flavor.

Shiawase looks surprised. "Woke. . .up? Strange, that's what the little girl said. . ."

Hitari looks up sharply. "Shia, you found someone? A child?"

She shrugs. "Yes, but they got very. . .upset. Kanashimi was with them for a bit."

The pale figure drifts back and forth. Upset. . .that's. . .a light way of putting it. . .

There's another person around here like me? Rin thinks. Oh my God, maybe I'm not alone!

Hitari pinches his nose and sighs. "Shia - remember, we can't just - " He takes her by the shoulders. "Shia, we can't just let things like this slide. There shouldn't be a single person," he whispers to her. "Especially if they all say they just. . .'woke up'."

Shiawase looks back at you, then Hitari. "But he seems happy enough. . .I don't see anything wrong. . ."

Hitari grumbles something and lets her go.

Something cold brushes your shoulder. Oops - sorry. . .I didn't mean to bump into you. . .

It's the figure Shiawase introduced as Kanashimi. Now that they're close, you can make out distinct features - they have wavy, shoulder-length hair (you can't really tell what color it is, because their image is so faded), and are wearing simple a simple shirt with a normal pair of pants.

"Ah! It's fine," Rin says quickly. "Sorry. Thought you were Itami for a second." He shivers at the thought.

Oh - no, no, I'm much different than him. . . Kanashimi says. But. . .I suppose we are similar. . .as we all are. . .

Shiawase and Hitari are babbling with each other - probably catching up on events, since they were apart for so long.

"You're.... Kanashimi, right?" Rin recalls. "Um, nice to meet you."

They blink in surprise for a second. Oh, you've heard of. . .oh yeah, Shiawase introduced me earlier, I think. . .

Kanashimi nods. But yes, that's me, Kanashimi. . .nice to meet you as well, Mister. . .?

"Isorin," Rin introduces. "Call me Rin."
