Zilla tensed a bit. She closed her eyes hoping that if she didnt not see them she would not be as scared. This didnt quite help as much as she had hoped. She moved her tail slightly towards herself. Apart of her wanted to run but she stayed there.

Nearby, leaves shifted unnaturally. Not enough for the hunter to see, but enough for Elenor's enhanced eyesight to pick up on. She focused on the spot for any further movement that would suggest there was something hiding in there.

His eyes were shfting from the unclear shapes of a dragon in the clairing to the spot where Zilla was hiden mentaly pleading her not to move, not to make a sound. He had one chance to get the other dragon close enough to snap his neck before he could retaliate, he was most likely not alone and Skaaul woudn't be able to protect her if they attack at the same time.

"This would be a whole lot easier if you just showed up again, Turner!" the hunter suddenly roars, their eyes darting around underneath their mask.

Turner. That must have been the first hunter that she'd killed.

This plan wasn't working. This dragon was just going to drive away her target, not find him. If they made another stupid move again, she was just going to dispatch the dragon and search on her own.

And to think that at first you'd been trained as a guard - these last few years have really forced you to change your ways, she thought to herself.

The hunter growled. "The Golden Flame Bearer, huh? Well, my fire might not be 'golden', but it'll do the job nicely," he snarls.

The swamp is damp, and any fire will probably go out quickly. But so long as the hunter keeps up a continuous stream of fire, they'll be able to cause a lot of damage. And they'll literally smoke out anything nearby. Elenor darted back a ways as the dragon opened their mouth, fire shooting from it.

Zilla opened her eyes as she heard the dragon speak. She winced as she saw the fire from the hunter. Despite her strong desire to run, she stayed put. She looked in the direction she knew Skaaul was. She wasnt sure how long before she would have to try to leave due to the fire.

His eyes glow ominously in the light of the fire, no one, absolutely no one manage to smoke him out without paying big time. Taking adventage of the panicked wildlife around the clairing he move in the foliage until he was close enough to strike and dig his now glowing fangs as deep as possible in the other dragon's shoulder before setting it in fire with the golden flame.

Elenor stopped her retreat when she saw the Golden Fire Bringer leap out from nowhere and attack the hunter. The dragon yowled, no longer breathing fire and instead swiping at Skaaul, who was locked onto their shoulder.

And if Skaaul is here, that means his partner is nearby, Elenor thought, ducking down and creeping around the edge of the battle, deep in the undergrowth. She kept one eye on the fighting dragons and the other looking out for the female.

Zilla shrunk back once the fighting had begun. She very lowly moved back so as not to be near them. She paused upon hearing another noise not from the fight. Her ears perked up a bit but she stayed low. She figured if there was another dragon with the hunter, it would find her before long. She readied herself for the chance she may be found.

He receave a few good hit but keep his jaw clamp shut around the other dragon, the space between his fangs now a raging inferno of gold and white. His tail wrap around the hunter's wings crushing them as a deep growl echoed from deep in his throat. When he finaly releass the hunter from his jaw he didn't let him the time to escape the ball of golden fire comming directly to his face.
