As it turns to fight back, you slash it again, and it dies as the large rat hits the ground, giving you 5 xp and a chunk of rat meat as it died. *Nice one man, now we just need 8 more of those, and then 5 fiend boars... how about I handle fiend board for now, since Im level two, theyll be easier for me to kill* He says. *Ill meet you back round here after I finish, have fun getting used to things* Rio gave a wave as he went off to find and kill some fiend boars. They were uncommon enemies, so it might take him some time to find them while you just had to kill 8 common enemies. [Skill unlocked: Sneak attack]

"No problem." He quicly moved the rat meat to a cornor of his inventory and went on a killng spree.

I pick "Accept".
I turn from the castle to go into the wild.

You lost a bit of health fighting the rats, but killed most of them no problem, getting 3 more chunks of rat meat and 40 xp, as well as 50 xp from Rio's kills and the party xp sharing.

A notification appears in front of you, and your stat menu automatically opens. Out of the corner of your eye, you can see Rio sitting in the grass, staring at one of his menus looking bored.

He puts two in strength, oneis wis and one is dex, and one in luck.


Then goes over to Rio.

You enter the wild where a lot of players walking around and killing some of the creatures. Your bow is still on your back, and the instructions are still fresh in your mind. Some other players were in parties, others were alone, just like you currently were. You spotted several fiend rats in the distance. You figured that there wasn't a specific rat to kill, but a random chance that a rat would drop the item you were hunting for.

You head over to Rio, who didn't notice you until you got his attention

"Oh, hey Alex, sorry, I didn't notice you there" He sighed. "Rhea still hasn't respawned yet... is the respawn time like over an hour or something to prevent players from just constantly killing themselves?" He asked no one in particular. "Maybe she just logged out... but then wouldn't she try to wake me up? Maybe that would be dangerous though, she's probably getting a snack" Rio sighed, staring at her character profile, still saying 'deceased'

I get closer to the fiend rats, but not in their attack range.
I grab my bow, aim for one of them, and shoot.

"Man...That would suck if the respawn time is a long time. Maybe she did log out. Which i should probably do later, i left a burrito in the microwave and if Nani sees that well, there goes my dinner." He shrugs. "So....Finf eniugh boars?'


In the back of his overthinking mind, he wondered if a little test on whether logging out made your profile read deceased or not would help matters.

You get in range of the rats and shoot one. Its health gets really low, but doesn't quite die, Three rats notice you, and start creeping towards you, scampering quickly through the grass.
