He roll his eyes and smirk "Yea, yea, let's look at that book." Maby it was a bad idea to let her win if she was going to tease him about it, oh well, she deserve her that for helping him getting out of this mess.

Zilla giggled. Ok then! She said. She opened it up to the pages in another language. She opened up her notebook as well and got her pen ready to write.

It was a slow process but he was managing to read some passages of the book " Ok, so in this part they are talking about an armor made with the symbol of the sun, not a shield like i first though, that was wear by the protectors long ago... There is no record of our familly ever owning somthing like that, as odd as it seem, so i guess this may be about the rank bellow the flame bearer or somthing." He kept on reading for a while before getting to the next part. " Here they speak of silver ashes, maby in relation with the golden flame but nothing that realy explain what it is, just that it was use to 'find the answer' to somthing they were looking for."

Maybe the armor has something to do with the golden flame. Like maybe you could someone it using your golden flame. And silver ashes? Maybe that is made when you burn something with your golden flame? I mean I am completely guessing here though. she said. She doubted this was the case. It didnt seem very probable to her.

"If it was that simple the area would be fill with those ashes so it have to be a bit more then simply lighting somthing on fire. As for the armor i guess it would be possible..." While he had try alot of thing to figure out how his flame was working he had never try to actualy set himself of fire, for obvious raison, but since there was an armor in the picture maby, his teath glowing were the start to somthing else.

Elenor crawled on her belly until she could poke her head over the side of the Floating City and down to the marshes below. There were plenty of clouds in the way, but when she sacrificed a little of her energy for maximising her sight she could focus on what looked like two dragons looking over an object she couldn't make out.

At the sound of approaching wingbeats, she ducked out of sight into the undergrowth. Overhead, three dragons passed and hovered at the edge of the floating island. One pointed down to the marshes, speaking to the other two.

"-find them, and bring them to me," the male voice demands. "I wan't them both alive. Disobey my orders and you two can make up for your mistake with your own blood. Return to me any books they have in their possession. Be swift, they may have learned too much already."

They nod, masks obscuring their identity, before swooping down to the marshes - their heads moving back and forth as they begin their search.

No way are they getting my revenge, Elenor growls in her head, gliding off the ridge. She had fallen into the habit of returning debts - Skaaul was owed a moment of feeling helpless. Hopefully pinned down under her talons.

Examining the way the autor had described the armor he summon a small flame in his mouth, of course the saliva of all firbreathing dragons was a protection against their own fire to avoid injury so it didn't burn him. This also raised a question, was it realy what prevented the golden flame to burn him tho, after all even if he had receaved it at birth it wasn't totaly his...

Zilla looked around. She swore she had heard something. She looked to Skaaul. He seemed unbothered so she calmed down a bit. Still, she grabbed the book and notebook so she would be ready to leave if need be. Her ears twitched a bit, searching for any noise. She gave Skaaul a smile but it was clear she was starting to feel uneasy.

Something nagged at her, specifically her back spines. She reached back and realised at some point she'd gotten a rock stuck between her spines. She considered just throwing it away, but then formulated her plan that would involve taking down the two goons flying ahead of her, unbeknownst to her existance.

She spun round, enhancing her sight until she could see the two on the ground again. She squinted, aiming, and lobbed the rock at the female - who seemed to have the sense to realise she was being hunted, unlike the male.

She then turned back to the other two hunters, gaining height on silent wings for her assault.

While he was acting as if evrything was alright, it was mostly to keep Zillia calm, he was definitively aware that somthing was going to happen.
