The cougar paces up to you and licks the top of your head, keeping an eye on Kanashimi, who is still hovering quietly behind you.

O-oh. . .it's. . .the cougar, he says. S-strange that. . .it would be with the pup. . .

"I'm off" she smiled to the invisible people and walking down a hill "feel free to come to me when you want to leave the weird girl!" She yelled back

Kanashimi gets hard to see as you walk away, but you can make out him waving timidly. . . .I don't want to leave her with herself. . .but. . .I'll remember you. . .

The cougar bounds after you.

The pup, still a bit concerned for you, nuzzles you happily.

Mind reeling frantically, Rin starts to come to a conclusion. "Itami.... he's taken your memory, hasn't he?" Rin starts to panic a little. "Hitari, she's not here. Shia's not here."

Hitari blinks. "She's not here. . .then where's Itami. . .?"

He holds a hand over the (still bleeding) wound in his chest. Something covers it - something that looks like pure blackness. After only a few seconds, it vanishes, and the damage is healed.

"He.... I think he left.... I HOPE he left!" Rin stutters angrily. He feels the currents of magic swarming and looping around him. It occurs to him he's probably glowing. He doesn't care.

Hitari narrows his eyes. "You hope Itami left, but you're fine with me being here." He throws his hands up. "Yeah, makes sense to me."

He shakes his head as he looks around again. "So. . .who are you, kid? _{I could have sworn I got rid of everyone. . .this looks like a village house. . .}"

Rin folds his arms furiously. His fear and confusion has morphed into anger..... far easier to deal with, but just as dangerous. "Isorin." He says, his voice just a little bit sharp and deeper than usual. "Isorin Enophior. Nice to meet you."

Hitari nods. "Isorin. Hi. I. . .seeing as you're here, you clearly know me already."

He rubs the back of his neck. "Judging how you seem mad, I'm guessing you're upset that I may or may not have destroyed the entire village and everyone you know?"

As he talks, he takes the knife out of his pocket and idly flips it back and forth.

Rin squints at him. "Wow. You really don't remember anything, do you?" He huffs and turns away. "I am SO done with this right now," He mutters. "No. I came after that. They were long gone when I came."
