The cliff didn't throw a shadow. There was nothing to throw a shadow behind you in the field. It was probably coming straight down

After a few hours, you passed a hut in the middle of a field to your right with a well. Around it was what looked like a cemetery.

I figure I should go knock on the door of the hut, figure out what this place is.

You could feel sleep prickling at your eyes as well, your feet were sore from the walking. Sylphren curled up, sitting down and hiding his beak in his wings to sleep.

Orion stifled a yawn, fighting against sleep. But eventually tiredness won as his eyes slowly drifted closed.

You wander through the town aimlessly, passing a few stalls selling things quietly. You could probably reach the city gates by dusk.


I ignore them, hoping to reach the edge of the city soon. I look down and hope I don't stand out of place too much.
