The pup barks at Kanashimi, who flinches away from it. The cougar watches you, silent and expressionless.

Hitari opens his mouth to say something, but he never gets to start speaking.

The window shatters, and what can only be described as a spear of shadow drives straight into his chest - right into where his heart.

He looks down silently, looking mildly surprised.

Now that the window is blown open, you can see Itami on the other side, staring in.

Rin jumps to his feet, hearing a ringing in his ears. His heart is pounding as he raises his staff in defense, but he is too afraid to make any other move. "Y-you!!"

Hitari slowly raises his hand and feels at the wound, which has begun bleeding rather badly.

He smiles. ". . .wow."

"Hitari!" Rin exclaims. He looks at the place where Itami stood in horror. "Oh God, do you need help?"

She placed it in her bag lightly and looked at the cougar
